Iron Horse 1 bedroom sleeps 4 - cozy condo getaway

Pool is closed
This 1 bedroom unit is on the 4th floor of the building and offers a cozy vacation rental experience and will sleep 4 providing ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes at Winter Park Resort.
The kitchen area has new cabinets with tiled counter-tops, tiled floors and new appliances and provides an open view of the main living room and has 2 seats at the counter. No air conditioning.
Taking in the incredible views of the skier's corridor out the large picture windows with the gas fireplace in sight, this unit is not about watching TV. The carpet is brand new throughout as of February 2019. The dining area is located adjacent to the living room and provides an easy escape out onto the private deck.
The Murphy bed is a comfortable Queen that can be stored away to enjoy more living space during the day.
The master bedroom has a Queen bed and access to the main bathroom. Other great amenities include private balcony and WI-FI make enjoying the day off the slopes easy.
Located one floor below the skier access in the D building of the Iron Horse Resort.
Please note: The Iron Horse property is located on the skier's corridor from Mary Jane to the base of Winter Park. All skiers will need to be an intermediate level or higher to access the ski-in/ski-out feature of the property. There is also 150 yards of a walk from the Iron Horse building to the ski trail.
All guests will need to display the parking pass from the unit in their car to prevent towing – this rule is strictly enforced at the property.
Pool is temporarily CLOSED.

Excellent stay on the slopes

We enjoyed our weeklong family stay at this cozy and beautifully decorated condo. It had everything we needed inside - fully stocked kitchen, comfortable space with cozy fireplace and separate bedroom, clean bathroom. And even comfortable chair at the entrance to sit and put ski boots on and off. It was very convenient getting out to slopes for skiing and the location was quiet and secluded for relaxing. Property amenities were excellent providing hot tub, gym, and spa room for relaxation after days of skiing.Thank you for a wonderful family winter break!

Nice location that sleeps a family comfortably.

Good location with ski in/out access from the 5th story and an indoor/outdoor pool and a game room that my kids loved. Building is older, but pretty well maintained. The condo was a little tight (it was hard to get past the table to get to the fourth chair or the deck), but it was in good shape all things considered and lovingly decorated.

wonderful weekend in the mountains

The property was beautiful and had everything we needed. The check in was frustrating as we got several emails and were required to download an app so check in information was spread amongst many documents. I would have preferred one concise email with all needed details for parking and access to the condo. One of the hot tubs was broken which is super disappointing as we literally had a line of people waiting to get into the one working hot tub.

Great location, very loud mornings

The unit is located on the 4th floor right below the 5th floor bridge to skiing. Thus, it is very convenient to get in and out for skiing but there is a lot of noise from the room above which is where people are putting on their boots and walking around in them starting pretty early in the morning. The window in guest room was covered with what appeared to be fruit flies and we were unable to get anyone on the phone to come and take care of it.

Great location. Unfortunately the condo didn’t meet our expectations. There was a rip in the back of the couch, drywall was peeling above the shower, and light fixtures were somewhat dim.

Great condo, fantastic location

This is a great condo, in good condition, close to bridge to ski-out. It was sufficiently stocked with kitchen items, towels, etc. The ski shop is just an elevator ride down, which was very convenient. I would give this rental 5 stars if the experience with the management company were better. They came through in the end but I felt like I had to babysit the process the whole way.

close to lifts, great parking!

the property was clean, with some minor scuffs in the kitchen area and bathroom. the property had ample space for sleeping. the dishwasher was full when we arrived; it would have been nice if it were emptied/put away. besides that, i would recommend the property to anyone looking for a stay at winter park
