Was only in Windhoek overnight. Flew in just at sunset, leaving the hotel just after breakfast heading to the Namibia Desert. The hotel was modern, well designed and offered a good nights sleep. The morning breakfast buffet was also good.

I stayed here for 6 nights starting Dec 24. The room was very comfortable and quite even though it looked out over the pool area. TV and internet in the room were terrific. Many English speaking stations and movie channels. The internet was quick. I ate at the hotel all 6 days. The morning buffet was delicious and there was a huge choice of foods. The dinner buffet was also excellent and they change up many of the selections daily. The service in the restaurant was outstanding. The Namibians are well spoken and very pleasant. By in large Namibia is a Christian country so you have Christian values. I spend some time at the pool area. My only complaint is there are not enough chairs available so you need to stake your claim early (before 11am). I played golf every day (4 days). The layout was excellent and the greens were surprisingly very smooth, medium speed with plenty of "blades per square inch". The fairways not so, they were burned out with not much grass. But the net result is I would rather have great greens and lousy fairways than the other way around. All in all, this hotel far exceeded my expectations and if I were to go back, I would return to this hotel.

Big hotel catering for many different markets including casino goers. 2 stays here in Nov and Dec. Comfortable though odd number room felt small and basic but was adequate for a couple of nights. Second visit we asked for an even numbered garden facing room; a great improvement, altogether lighter and more pleasant. Food was good at dinner and breakfast; all served on a buffet basis with plenty of local choice. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Stayed here away from the middle of Windhoek City, although out of town with a bit of a drive well worth the trouble as the hotel is very peaceful, gardens are well maintained. Staff are friendly but could be more attentive to guest service, e.g. help guests with their luggage to the room or from the room, had to carry my bags up the stairs from the breakfast area by myself whilst been watched by a number of staff! Also had avoided on the menu but was not available once during my stay, stayed six days? Otherwise a nice hotel well located from the madding crowd, would stay there again.

Excellent service, friendly staff, spacious and quiet room; what more can one ask for on a business trip? The breakfast is excellent with a hyge variety to suit all tastes Room service is well organised and quick

Like most people, I arrived into Windhoek completely exhausted. This hotel was perfect for that first night's rest before starting my trip. The room was spotless and good size with a very comfortable bed. I ate dinner there as I was too tired to eat out. Food was very good. Breakfast was even better. In fact, it was the best breakfast I've had in Namibia! I was on my way down to Sossusvlei, so the location couldn't be more perfect as it's just off the highway that takes you there. Highly recommend!

had a nice lunch with friendly service.....slept well and the whole re vamp is fantastic internet good and stable and the breakfast was perfect with all you could ask for.very clean and secure hotel and felt very welcoming

Having flown from England, what a place to have for a night's rest before embarking on a tour of Namibia. This place can suit everyone - it houses a casino, golf course, outdoor pools, gym, hair salon and outdoor dining area. There is also an ATM machine and change facilities (Sterling, US$ and Euros). For eating, the buffet dinner was extremely good - salads of all descriptions, 6" long sardines, calamari steaks and rings, beef and oryx steaks, pork and lamb chops all cooked to order. In addition, Italian pasts. The breakfast even boasted oysters and chicken livers. The bedroom was extremely comfortable, with a seating area, TV, tea-making facilities and laundry facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. My wife is 'gluten free' and one of the chefs came out to show her what she could eat.

After travelling for over 16 hours from England (via Johannesburg) the comfort and luxury of this top class hotel was very welcome. Our one night stay was not enough to sample the extent of what this place has to offer however it was enough to see that a stay of any duration would meet most travelers needs.

We had a great room with separate tub and shower. and all amenities. We loved the touch of the basket of fruit in our room. The king bed was separated into two mattresses and everything was up to date. There is a large safe in the room, no robes. The only fault we found is that the very classy shower just leaked onto the bathroom floor, by design somehow. There is a golf course and casino, pool and spa. The decor is quite modern--not particularly charming-- and the food good. I think you'll be happy here.
