We had a lovely half term break.

We had a lovely half term break. Perfect for couples and families of small children. A little cosy but fine for our family. You can walk to shops, restaurants, the lake plus Bowness-on-Windermere. The location made it for us. The host checked in on us at the beginning and end which was perfect. We needed £12 for the week in the electricity meter, but we used the washing machine and tumble dryer twice, and the oven almost every night. Don’t forget your towels and linen. Very nice cottage. Everything one needs for a short break away. Location is good for Windermere,Bowness and Lakeside - all accessible without going on the main roads! Can be a base for some excellent long and short walks.Also easy access either by bus or car to Ambleside/Grasmere/Hawkshead/Keswick. Owner Mrs B is on hand if needed too.
