Custom designed to replicate a century old Adirondack cabin, The Log Cabin at PeaceRidge is the perfect 4-season rental for you and your family. Unlike all other area rentals, our special cabin rests on a private, posted, and gated 135-acre wooded property 3 miles from the slopes of Whiteface Mountain, a very scenic, 20-minute drive to busy Lake Placid, and just minutes from the West Branch of the Ausable River, one of the east's most renown trout streams.
Miles of marked trails for jogging, biking, hiking, X-country skiing and snowshoeing begin right at your doorstep! Snowshoeing amid acres of snow laden cedars will be a memory you will long remember. The cabin is 1,200' from the road to assure peace and quiet. The 2,750' Winch Mt. provides breathtaking views and is directly behind the cabin. Our cabin has two air-conditioned bedrooms each with a very lavish king size bed that can be converted into two twin beds upon request, a spacious bathroom, and a large kitchen/dining area with cozy couches next to a warm fireplace. A covered 28' porch looks directly at Whiteface Mountain Range and their spectacular sunsets. (Bring your camera!) Our large fire pit is the perfect place to end a day of Adirondack activities. We are a pet friendly property so, without question, bring along your four-legged friend although he/she may not want to return home with you! The house was clean and nicely decorated. It was warm and we were able to eat together as a family at the big table. Snow shoeing on the trails was great. It was also nice to be so close to Whiteface for skiing. The host was very responsive to my texts. Thank you for sharing your home.

This cabin is located on a beautiful property within minutes to Whiteface Ski Resort and Lake Placid. It offers a great view of the top of Whiteface as well as well marked private trails on property. Accommodations were lovely with plenty of space for two people and a dog. It is definitely dog friendly, a big plus these days! The cabin was clean and well stocked with necessary kitchen items as well as basic cooking items. The bed was comfortable as are the leather couch and chair.

The cabin and property were absolutely beautiful! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. I slept great in the king sized bed and I normally sleep poorly in a strange bed. The shower was large and had plenty of hot water. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit one night and spending time in the morning having coffee on the front porch with a beautiful view of Whiteface Mtn. The trails on the property were great for walking our dogs. Can't wait to stay there again!

Beautiful getaway

We stayed here for several days on a ski trip to Whiteface. The kids decided this was the best rental property they had ever stayed in! The house is comfortable, beautifully maintained and well appointed, with stunning views of Whiteface Mountain from the porch and front yard. Host was very communicative and responsive. Highly recommended!

Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway

We've vacationed for years in the ADKs and have rented many places for our stays as a result. The Cabin at Peace Ridge is by far the best we've ever enjoyed. The cabin is so beautiful, comfortable, spacious and has everything we needed for an enjoyable week in "our mountains." The kitchen is well-supplied with even a few spices in the cabinets. The appliances are modern and the stove/oven is a dream! Loved the griddle in the middle! Livingroom, bedrooms, dining areas are so comfortable, and the washer/dryer combo perfect! "Cabin" is an understatement! This place has all the comforts of a really well-built home. The views of Whiteface from the front porch and fire circle had us mesmerized for hours each day, and the convenience of on property hiking trails a real treat. The location is well off the main road and provides real privacy even with the owner's home next door. We both hated to leave and do hope to return one day in the not too distant future. Thanks, Jerry! Great place!!

Wonderful ADK Getaway

The cabin was just as described in the writeup and the host (Jerry) is a very nice guy. Very quiet place in the woods but with enough open space for kids to play and adults to relax. Amazing views (Whiteface Mtn) from the porch/yard. Easy access to the towns, hiking trails and fishing spot. We will definitely be back (summer or winter).
