Nice home

As someone stated in an earlier review, there is no parking for you specifically. It is just street parking so no guarantees you will get a spot out front. There were also problems with the code for the lock. This too was stated in an earlier review. It was fine the first two days. Then when we got back the next day we could not get in with our code. You have to call someone at Vacassa to get in. They gave me another ten digit code (which is a little much). That code did not work either. Finally another code that did work. Master bedroom was very nice. Bathroom was very nice. All bedrooms were nice but one was so small it had no nightstands or dresser. Good location to access downtown, about a ten minute walk to riverfront. Kitchen was well stocked, beautiful gas stovetop. We enjoyed the front porch in the evening.

Historic Gem

My family (wife, two adult children, and three grandkids) and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Simmons. We enjoyed learning the history of the house, walking the historic neighborhood, and strolling the streets of Wilmington. A perfect family vacation.

Wedding Weekend in Wilmington

Perfect place to stay for us and our extended family in town for a wedding. Plenty of room for 10, comfortable, clean, well stocked. Great to walk to the riverwalk for dinner. Minor issues: The code pad for the front door is very sensitive and took multiple tries each time we wanted to get in the front door. The microwave had something burnt in it previous to our stay and we ended up have to do a thorough cleaning to be able to use it though it still had a faint burnt odor. We did have a bug issue and an issue with breakers tripping in the kitchen that we contacted the VRBO contact # about, they returned the call quickly, and sent someone out to fix the issue within a few hours. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others, minor issues were heavily out weighed by size, comfort, location, and service.
