For year-round outdoor sports and gorgeous scenery, try the Crafts Inn, which was designed in 1898 by Stanford White and is now registered as a National Historic Landmark. The Crafts Inn provides an indoor pool, racquetball court, and saunas. The Mount Snow ski area is within 6 miles which offers downhill and cross country skiing, snowboard park, mountain biking. In addition to the average annual snowfall of 15 feet, snowmaking ensures plenty of snow from mid-November to early May. In summer, enjoy swimming and boating on 14-mile-long Lake Whitingham, as well as playing tennis, golfing, and horseback riding.

We enjoyed a wonderful, mid-week, ski getaway at Mt Snow. Crafts Inn is a great location for relaxing in the evening - it's right in the center of town, walking distance to great restaurants. The hotel staff is friendly, they supplied all the amenities we needed. The inn is clean, quiet and charming. A cozy spot for a winter retreat.

Overall the room was comfortable. Hot tub nice. I stayed with a group who rented several rooms for the week, as we have done for the past few years.Heat was difficult to control, ran too hot.Checkout feels like guests are asked to perform housekeeping, not typical for most Inns.A friend of mine in a separate room stayed the 2 night minimum, checked out, then changed his mind in the afternoon and requested to stay one more night. He was denied a room for the single night stay because of the 2 night minimum rule which he had already satisfied. Dumb rule!

We very much enjoyed our stay, the suite was just as pictured and very clean which I appreciated. The pool area was very nice as well. I get a family atmosphere kind of vibe. Will definitely be returning. I love the little town and the Alpineglow across the street has great food.
