Overnight after Penn State football

For the price the room was clean and comfortable. Zero complaints. This was an overnight stay after a Penn State football game. I love these motels/inns in this price range. All we need is a bed to rest! Then leave for home the next morning! Only 1hr or so east of State College, PA. Not a bad drive. Just wish some guests were considerate when walking their dogs. Almost stepped in a pile of poop as I walked out of the lobby. Gotta pick it up! (But this can happen at any hotel/motel property.)

Suboptimal

The room had not been completely cleaned, and there may have been a plumbing backup that discolored the tub and left hair and soap residue. By the time this was discovered, there wasn't time to change rooms. Also, there were residents roaming the grounds and dogs barking into the late hours and early AM.

We got an extremely dirty room with stains on the curtains, beds, etc. We also were not pleased with the presentation and safety of the hotel. Not for a family with children. We had to leave and check into another hotel near by, but the manager wouldn’t refund us our money because he offered us a new room and we refused.

It was fine. There was no soap and the bed was a bit dirty, but you get what you pay for. Comfy enough bed and nice TV channel selection. Adequate for a place to crash for the night. The staff were very nice!

Bathroom was very small, which is fine, however toilet didn't have a lid so you could place your change of clothes for when you're finished showering. The mattresses were not very comfortable. Parking and check-in and check-out was very easy and fast. Staff was very friendly.
