Where to begin? The property was very nice, however the service was pretty poor. We had a group of 45 and the overall consensus was the same, it's like they just don't care. Not sure if it's because most don't tip? I always take 100 singles and 20 $5's with me to tip...you might think they would remember who's tipping and who's not!? There were a handful of outstanding workers at the resort, however that was eroded by almost everyone else. Examples would be: not making eye contact or responding to a hello or good morning as you pass. Bar staff not making eye contact and waiting 20+ minutes for a drink at the pool. Countless examples of workers chatting it up with each other, on a phone etc while you just wait. Even by 'island standards', this was really bad. Wait staff in town were slow, but aware. The food: buffet was pretty decent, BUT 1 morning they were breaking down at 10:40am when it closed at 11. The BBQ was FANTASTIC!!!!! Service was great and the food, ahhhh. Mexican restaurant, not good. Sushi, laughable! The rolls were on par with your local US grocery store, but the sashimi, inedible...water logged and somewhat unidentifiable. The room was pretty good and comfy, they have 2 different teams with stocking the bar and cleaning. We went 2 days w/out water in the room and it took asking 4 different people to finally get someone to have it addressed.

I was diagnosed with Celiac after booking. Since there were no refunds, I attempted to contact the resort beforehand to ask if they could accommodate my dietary restrictions with no luck. I basically ate the same meal each day. A few staff members stood out, otherwise most of the staff seemed miserable. Service at the bars was slow. No drink service at the pool or beach. Beautiful property, but understaffed, guests smoking wherever they wanted, pool was too deep to stand in. Room was fine, but almost impossible to get washcloths. Cigarette butts littered the beach, dirty glasses all over the property, dishes piled high in bar sinks, kids’ toys and a dirty diaper left at the pool. A staff member was observed “washing” silverware in two pitchers of water. One was filled with filthy water and dirty silverware that was dipped it into another pitcher of water. Each item was wiped with a towel and placed it into a “clean” silverware holder to be used for the restaurants! Food was just okay, but the service at the restaurants was overall horrible. Meals were sitting at the counter for over 20 minutes. Reservations were very difficult to get only to wait in line to be seated. Four restaurants under the same roof. Odd setup. Very little entertainment and music—nothing at the pool! The music we did hear sounded like elevator music, not an island resort. Entertainment was canceled with no explanation. Hilton should be embarrassed!

Resort was clean, the rooms were clean. The pools were spectacular. The food in most of the restaurants was good, the service is pretty subpar. When waiting for drinks bartenders would walk right past you and it would sometimes take 20 plus mins for drinks. The harbour restaurant they forgot half of our fiod and nver came back to check on us. The buffet was good for a buffet. Pretty much had the same thing every day. The beach at the resort was ok had seaweed and wasnt very clear. The pool at the riff was pretty boring. No music playing. The while resort was a little boring at night, very little night life or music during the day or night. Most of the staff seemed miserable. I dont think i would stay there again, curacao itself i will be back though

The staff were courteous but at the restaurant service was slow. I put that down to being understaffed. The food in all the eateries was very good except for the Japanese restaurant where it was so so. We had a room with a private pool which we very much enjoyed. The room was clean. Sometimes we had to ask for more hand towels but that was rare. The drinks were great. We did find that getting our wine at the bar before heading to the restaurant was a good idea.

The hotel room and grounds were well kept. The staff were excellent and attentive. We loved all the inclusive amenities. They food was delicious with plenty of options. I would recommend more wait staff for Sofra Turkish and Maya Mexican restaurants as it took a long time for the food and it was cold when it got to us. Having the beach right on the faculty was a plus. Clear water and beautiful views. The beach was clean and welcoming with plenty of beach lounges. The bar staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, an exceptional experience and will recommend to others.

This is a beautiful property but absolutely no customer service. You can’t get into the specialty restaurants, we couldn’t get our room cleaned and soap and towels replenished even after asking twice. There is no one to bring drinks to the pool area so you have to get into a line that at times was 15 people long. Some of the bars and coffee shops aren’t open when they’re supposed to be. Very poorly managed property!!!

The resort itself is very pretty and clean, but my stay at The Rif Mangrove was disappointing from start to finish. The reviews seemed so promising, yet my experience was the complete opposite. My room wasn’t filthy but it wasn’t properly cleaned either. There were hair strands in the shower and an old envelope Ifrom the previous guest. Housekeeping skipped turndown service on my second day, even after I asked them to return later. Service was the biggest problem. Upon arrival, one helped me with my luggage and when I had asked about certain areas on the resort no one could explain where anything was. Staff at the buffet were not welcoming and never checked in to see if I needed anything. I was acknowledged by staff for the first time on my last day, and I think it’s only because a media team happened to be there. Ordering drinks at the bar was frustrating because I was met with attitude. The dinner reservation system was a mess. On day 2, the staff member for reservations was out sick, and we weren’t informed until after booking time had already started. The website barely worked. It shouldn’t have been hard to accommodate one person, but I got a reservation after the bartenders Kevin & Tahir noticed my frustration. The buffet food was mostly cold, room service was limited with a $15 charge, the WiFi constantly cut out, and renting a car on-site was impossible. I know others may have had better experiences, but this stay ruined the vibe of my trip. I would not return.

Very nice place, maybe the only things for them to improve is have more utensils at dinner time, we needed to wait long time for a simple fork, also they need to pay attention to rif section, as it is more expensive and anyone can move or order there. Finally bartender service can be lots faster or put more people on it, as to many times the wait was extense

My room was a swim up the pool is not temperature regulated so i was unable to use the pool during my stay as the water was always cold. The waiter at the Harbor restaurant went on break and did not bring my food before he left, i had to hunt another server down for my food and it was given to me cold. My room did not get cleaned until 5:30pm i had to hunt a housekeeper down to get clean towels and wash rags. Reservations were made for the Mexican restaurant and we had to wait online for 20 mins before being seated. The only good service was at the pool side bar.

The rooms are beautiful. The resort is beautiful. The buffet hours did not give guest enough time to get food. There are other restaurants that require reservations and they fill up quickly. Staff was not very pleasant or helpful either

Pool was okay, the bars were terrible, service was very poor, selection was very limited. food was okay (not great) service was very poor. a lot of empty tables that were not cleaned. it was not an all inclusive resort, seemed like a self serve resort. The coffee/soda self serve area was very not cleaned and smelt like sour milk. the restaurant's were not really restaurant's they were outdoor huts. No airconditioned eating areas. Service in the dinning area was terrible, gests were ignored. not a very good vacation
