This place was not ready to be rented

In full disclosure, I held off on writing this review because the owner assured me he would reimburse me, but apparently he decided otherwise. We rented in February of 2025 and wound up only staying one night - yea, we had to pay an extra three nights in a hotel but the finals straw was the tiny black bigs all over my son’s room. There were open wires all over the place and a giant hole in the deck where I imagine a hot tub could go someday. This place was not ready to be rented, and in top of that the owner takes a very long time to reapond, even when youre just arriving and tryingn to check in. NOT GOOD.

Die Wohnung mit zwei Schlafzimmern war geräumig und es war alles vorhanden, einschließlich einer Waschmaschine. Sehr ruhige Lage, die startenden Flugzeuge vom nahegelegenen Flughafen haben uns nichts ausgemacht, da nachts kein Flugverkehr stattgefunden hat. Die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer hat gut funktioniert. Der Pool war perfekt, ideale Größe und nur für uns. Zwischen Haus und Meer (Atlantik) liegt ein Naturschutzgebiet, dadurch war man auf der Terrasse völlig ungestört. Wandern kann man dort allerdings nicht. Zum Meer muss man auf die Karibikseite mindestens 30-45 Minuten Fahrzeit einplanen. Das nächste Lebensmittelgeschäft ist in etwa 5 Minuten Fahrzeit erreichbar. Es empfiehlt sich ein Auto zu mieten, da der Bus nicht in der Nähe hält. Empfehlung für Paare, die die Ruhe und den Blick in die Natur genießen und gerne auf eigene Faust erkunden. Für kleine Kinder nicht geeignet, da keine Absturzsicherung vorhanden ist und bei seitlicher Höhe von etwa 1,5m und hinter dem Pool 3m in einen betonierten Wassergraben. Alles in allem war es für uns traumhaft und wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Schitterend uitzicht over de oceaan, heerlijk terras, en veel ruimte. Accommodatie ligt wel afgelegen (kan een plus of een min zijn), geen restaurantjes etc. in de buurt, maar wel eigen kookgelegenheid. Ook navigatie is nodig, want de wegen zijn daar een beetje doolhof, en niet altijd even goed aangegeven. Goede communicatie nodig met beheerder (die is niet altijd thuis), zo mogelijk direct.

Gran experiencia y ubicación

Ubicación un poco alejada del centro por lo que se recomienda vehículo, gran comunicación y respuesta por parte del propietario. Lo que no gustó es que la casa no estaba disponible a la llegada, lograron acomodarnos por lo que no hubo inconvenientes pero fué un poco tedioso. De resto muy bien todo. Claramente volveríamos
