Very spacious and the area around the hotel was very modern and clean.

Peaceful, felt like the buffet was pretty much the same most of the nights, The staff were helpful. We got a small upgrade on the room because of leaking ac unit, however I really don’t like the fact of they using two twin size bed to make one bed, I quickly requested a king and felt and slept so much better. The cleanliness of the room upon entry of check in was real nice, the room attendant daily services could’ve been a lot better, they somehow seems to rush through. Wasn’t impressed!

Our stay at the Acoya was AWFUL; they really do not understand the concept of an all inclusive, or proper customer service. They are unprofessional and unprepared. We arrived under two hours early for check-in. The hotel seemed about one third booked, yet the front desk staff refused to allow us to go to the room, and not even allowed us a drink at the bar (not even water) until 4pm. Management is rude and dismissive of feedback. The meals are limited and not good. Even while wearing our "All inclusive bracelets", the wait staff still harasses you to prove that you're not a "free-loader." I would not stay here ever again even it were for free.

We stayed at Acoya 2 years ago and were very happy at that time. This time was different. The 2 bedroom apartment was not very clean, especially the kitchen. Worn out cabinets, stains of furniture especially sofas and dining chairs. There are no drawers of any kind for clothing, only hanging armoires which were lacking in hangers. Had to call for missing items on a daily basis including hangers, hair dryer, toilet paper, towels etc. Kitchen not well equipped at all. We asked for the coffee maker 3 times but it never came. There seems to be a drainage issue on the resort that we experienced, and heard the same from other guests at reception. Maintenance was not available that night so we had one of the bathrooms non-operational until the next day. We did not do the all inclusive option. Overall, could have been way happier with Acoya, and sadly do not think we would return there. Curacao is a fabulous island with many other options.
