The hotel did update the rooms on a tight budget it seems and they are VERY small! Definitely NOT big enough for a large family. My daughter had very limited space. We had a "studio" with a kitchenette, cook top and fridge. You couldn't cook properly because the lack of space to reach the cook top. You had to lift the microwave off the top of the fridge and set it in the counter to use it. There was no dish soap,missing silverware,no dishes or dish cloths.
There are no closets to hang clothes, no hooks to hang wet wash cloths in the shower, 1 towel bar to dry a towel, no hooks for other wet towels or bathing suits. We had to lay the wet towels over a chair or off the bed posts to dry.We stayed at the hotel for 3 days and housekeeping never came to give us clean towels. There is no vanity in the bathroom to place toiletries. It was a pedestal sink that was VERY loose from the wall.
This hotel has "piggy back" parking so you have to leave your car keys at the front desk if you park behind someone. It is on block down from the boardwalk entrance. Lot's of resturants near by and the owners are very nice.
Other guests at the pool were smoking marijuana at the pool or outside their rooms everyday.
