Overall, our stay was okay. The hotel’s location is excellent, the amenities are great, and we especially enjoyed the pool. However, the biggest downside was that the air conditioning in our room stopped working after the first day. Despite approaching the receptionist multiple times, it was never fixed during our 3-day stay. We were told that the air conditioning in all rooms was out of order and that nothing could be done until maintenance arrived. Unfortunately, by the time we checked out, the issue still hadn’t been resolved. While the property has a lot of potential, the lack of a working aircon and the unaddressed issue made the stay less comfortable than expected.

We have been coming here since the 70s… loved the updated room and cleanliness. It was a perfect location. Very well maintained… Ocean Towers is the way to go! One suggestion: The pool music is fun but all music should be lowered by 6pm, just to create a more relaxed evening. So happy with this vacation!

Wildwood fun

We stayed in the Royal Tower and was as described as in other reviews renovated in the 50's retro style fridge microwave coffemaker. The room was clean the house keeping service was prompt if you needed extra towels or were missing towels ie: hand or wash cloths. They provide daily room cleaning a definite plus these days when many hotels do not. The perks are great we used the shuttle they provide for free (both ways) to go to the boardwalk. The driver Jack was lively, friendly and informative on the trip over. You can also take the shuttle to Cape May. The hotel will provide two chairs, a beach ⛱️ and towels as well as a set up on the beach , all complementary. Remember to tip you guy they hussle. The Ocean side of the hotel is new and lovely I had the opportunity to see one of the rooms there and found that room similar to mine a one bedroom suite which I found was more cozy than the Royal Tower. The pool on that side had rental cabannas as well as fire pits to relax by at night all very lovely. Definitely a place to visit. Location is perfect for the beach and being out of the business of the boardwalk area.

We stayed here for a week in August. The property is ok. The issue is they put all their effort into making the lobby and pool area look so modern and fancy, meanwhile the rooms are just like every other motel in Wildwood. They can use updating and a deep cleaning. The real issue was finding parking. To go along with the fancy facade of the lobby, they require valet parking once the handful of parking spots in front are taken. I don’t really need someone driving and parking my car with my personal items inside every time I come back from dinner or the boardwalk. Completely unnecessary and at times inconvenient. I personally would not stay here again when there are hotels with identical rooms for a lot less.

Was falsely told we left a bag and drove one hour to get and to find out was from a different room. The biggest disappointment was manager would not talk to us about as staff told us she could not speak to us as she was in her office. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!

Pros: Gorgeous silky-sand beach with free lounge chairs/umbrellas set up for you and beachside food/drink service. Great soundproofing in the rooms, and our two-room suite was spacious. Restaurant food and servers were very good. Cons: Bathroom felt grungy (rusted toilet paper holder, not well-cleaned). Safe didn’t work. Staff outside of the restaurant weren’t friendly or welcoming — no one checked if we were enjoying our stay. Poor communication at check-in about amenities. Towel attendant was on her phone and unfriendly. Required valet parking was inconvenient

Pros: really pretty resort and clean. Wonderful lounge areas and proximity to the beach. Shuttle to cape May and wildwood boardwalk is great! Service at the restaurant was good and plenty of clean towels ready for the pool. Cons: AC unit in the room is loud which makes it hard to get a good night sleep. Our sink also didn’t drain properly. When asking for additional things from house keeping it took way too long. There is only one elevator in the hotel so if you in the ocean front part it takes a long time to walk to the elevator and you are walking through very narrow area passing by many rooms and people sitting at tables.
