Absolutely fantastic, the cottage was superb and couldn't have wished for anything more ,we had a great time and enjoyed our stay ,one minor detail was the gate at the bottom of the stairs isn't dog proof, well not for our little spaniel, but so loved the place ,we would definitely come back

This cottage is simply beautiful.
This cottage is simply beautiful. It is quite possibly the best equipped cottage that my family have ever stayed in. The owners have definitely gone above and beyond with a few of the fantastic little extras detailed below:* permanently fitted stair gate to keep both dogs and children safe* The amount of utensils and equipment available for use in the kitchen was fantastic, the coffee machine with pods available was a lovely touch and there were more than enough items of crockery and cutlery available for use* Kitchen equipment that you would have at home for example mixing bowls, measuring spoons, and a large rang of trays and baking equipment you wouldn’t usually find in a holiday let* The provision of towels to use for the dog* An outside hot and cold shower for use to clean the dog and muddy boots* Torches hung by the majority of doors and windows for use by guests in the dark or a power outage (luckily not needed even with the dodgy weather) The cottage had been beautifully decorated for Christmas which added to the properties charming interior. The beds were comfortable and warm and the bathroom has been decorated to an extremely high standard with a powerful, hot shower and a stunning roll top bath. Phone signal in the village is fairly nonexistent, however, the provision of wifi meant that this was not a problem. There was a full size fridge and freezer available for use, a large washing machine which was handy for our muddy clothes following some beautiful walks in the surrounding area, and the range cooker was absolutely brilliant for cooking our Christmas dinner. I honestly cannot find any faults with this cottage. We had a fantastic stay and would like to compliment the owners on their attention to detail and pride that they clearly take in the property they are letting. Aside from the property itself they were extremely helpful as they kept in contact leading up to our holiday and answered all my questions in a timely fashion. The Christmas card they had left for us was a lovely touch and made us feel like extremely valued guests.
