I need to find a room really fast, so decided to choose such, I thought the price was reasonable until I encounter few problems after I went in the room ,highly doubt they have room service,found last guest left lots clothes in room,awful thinking you walk in to someone else's room! Second night trying to get in room with kids was a disaster,SO"COLD" outside and you can't get in cause they disable your key,had to run across 4 lane high way,to get it fix. NEVER WILL STAY THERE AGAIN

I was a bit hesitant to stop here because of the previous reviews but I was tired and it was late and didnt want to travel any further. However having stayed there now I think the previous reviews were probably a little unfair. What is not commonly known about this hotel is that it mainly caters for railroad workers who are coming and going all day and night and this chain of hotel is primarily geared to looking after those guys. They can have anything between 50 and 150 workers turn up at anytime which they have to sort. Therefore you are not going to get the service as you would expect at a Holiday Inn. Having said that the room was clean and tidy and although we had too wait a while whilst our room was prepared thats probably because I had booked the room online about 10 minutes earlier. All in all this hotel is ok. However if you are a light sleeper you may want to book elsewhere as it can be busy and a little noisy in the middle of the night. Not something that I suffer from. I would recommend Penny's diner across the street though. Good food and warm reception. If you are heading down the I35 I would miss the rest area and come off at Wellington just for the food. They are open 24hrs. There is a gas station next to it as well.

A/C did not work so had to find another room. Same condition but was cool. Two other couples that had pre-registered online also were told there was no reservation. They had not brought their confirmation. Bad experience.

The room was very nice. The service was good too BUT THE BUGS was horrable!!! The carpet was black so you couldn't see them come in under the door or throw the ac, they would make a mad dash for the restroom, they seem to really like the coolness of the tiles. I went there to bury my parnets and was worried about the bugs getting into my suitcases. Was not a very good thing to be worring about when you are there for something like that. I have never been any where that I had to kill bugs before I could use the restroom. Sorry will never stay there again.

Bed was not very comfortable and pillows were horrible. Had a small fridge and a microwave in the room but no coffee pot and the fridge was not turned on when we got in the room, so it took the drinks we put in the fridge till the next morning before they were cold. Was very pleased with the friendly staff, dark & quiet room.

When we arrived, the clerk did not have our reservation. I understand that glitches happen but the clerk tried to make my husband and I feel as if we were trying to pull a fast one. The hotel had no vacancies. Luckily, we were able to book a room at a different hotel further away and not as nice. The only thing I want is my $5.00 refund from orbitz and I'll consider it a lesson learned. Kimberly J. Utsler

big disappointment
