The hotel in general was quite nice. Our check in was less than satisfactory as we booked a king room, but was told that Expedia made a mistake and there wasn't a king available...their website also showed one available. Needless to say we had to accept a alternate room. The beds were good, bathroom floor in room 626 was very dirty. I put towels on the floor so I wouldn't have to step on it.

The property needs some renovation. The property doesn’t have parking so you need to do valet parking and pay $37 the night. One elevator wasn’t working. I did not use the pool area so i can’t comment on that. My room was clean. The staff was friendly but not very professional, more layback. Didn’t give map of the city or explain about amenities etc. It seems they are short staff because it takes a long time to check in/out, the continental breakfast was ok. The property has great location, close to the river walk. Tower of americas. Shopping center etc.
