Loved the apartment decor and new renovation but it lacked a lot of basic kitchen items and those nice extras such as tea, coffe, milk in fridge. Not enough towels and no one to deal with this as this is privately owned.our transport didn’t show up to take us to the airport! Mark the manager is in Melbourne and contacted us trying to do everything possible to rectify. I suggest need onsite manager.

Great weather improved what would otherwise been an ordinary holiday
The property was clean and tidy but had a couple of minor maintenance issues. The furniture etc badly needs updating in keeping with the premium rental charged.
This was our third visit to Hamilton Island spaced over the past 11 years. The facilities are looking tired and badly need investment in the infrastructure.
Coming off Covid, I would have expected more updating during the down time (as did Daydream Island).
Biggest issue by far though is the restaurants. Some open some closed, and if you don't book weeks ahead, forget about walk-ups. The most disappointing restaurant closure was their one and only fine dining signature restaurant - Bommie.
For coffee lovers, there is still only two outlets serving the whole population, so 30 min wait in line is still required. Cannot understand why they don't have pop-up coffee carts similar to Noosa/Noosaville.
Accommodation rates are now off the chart so unfortunately this will be our last visit to Hamo.
