Good restaurant, beautiful building with good spots to sit by the fireplace or by the fire pit on the patio. The train can be heard a few times during the evening/early night. They provide earplugs in case you want them. Was a great stop on our way to Glacier the next morning. About 35 minutes away.

We really enjoyed our stay. Took advantage of the bike loaners and rode around Whitefish a bit. The hotel is well situated to take advantage of the town. We went into Glacier NP mostly during our stay, so we didn't get back in time to enjoy the restaurants in town. The hotel restaurant is very nice with a pleasant view of the golf course. We enjoyed the hottub as well!

This is a wonderful place with a very welcoming and friendly staff! We have stayed there several times in the past few years and always greatly enjoy our time there. The rooms are dated but spacious, clean and comfortable. They are quite pet friendly and our dog loves getting to stay there with us!

After a day of hiking their outdoor hot tub was just what we needed and bathrobes were provided for the walk down from room. Staff was very helpful everywhere we went.

Front desk staff was excellent, very friendly. Husband had an odd encounter with a gal in the bar, possibly hostess? They had closed already and the front desk had him go to the bar to ask her for ketchup (I forgot to ask at McDonald’s for my daughter, we didn’t get in until after 9:15 checked in and then ran to grab quick easy food as my daughter had a soccer game early the next day), the lady in the bar/restaurant area was very rude to him and said “the bar is closed!!” He explained he was just looking for ketchup packets and she responded “the kitchens closed, can’t help you.” Just didn’t seem very hospitable, a friendly sorry I can’t help you we’ve closed for the evening, or a hey let me see if I can find something real quick would have been nice. Otherwise the rest of our stay was very pleasant.

We are doing a cross country road trip and this lodge is super nice! It is pet friendly and has a lot of wildlife around the property! About 30/40 minute drive from Glacier National Park

The lodge is beautiful and great restaurant to eat at. The bedding was not very clean, we found some small flies, hair, and stains on the sheets. They were very nice and switched our room. The new room still had hair in the sheets. Overall the stay was still good.

The main reason it's not 5 stars is the lack of convenient outlets; very difficult to find someplace to charge our phones. Also, no microwave and no bedside table on one side.
