The Hubs and I were visiting family a few years ago and attending the city's Halloween Gala. We booked a jacuzzi suite. The room was gorgeous and super clean. The staff was amazing - super friendly and helpful. The location was easy to find and lots of parking. After having visited this hotel, we try to stay at Holiday Inns mostly.
Great staff, nice rooms, decent breakfast and convenient location. I've stayed at all the others and this is the one you want. Tanya the manager will take good care of you. I have been staying here for years--never a complaint.
Hotel is located on the edge of town and right opposite a microtel . Newer hotel , clean and comfortable. Walls are a little thin and one can hear the other room's wake up alarm. Breakfast is nothing much except the standard fare of bland scrambled eggs and toast, thought the coffee is good. Would have been better if they had added a lounge/ bar area to the hotel as there is precious little around specially when the temperatures are under -25C. S
I stayed at this hotel on Jan 28, 2017. We were pulling an enclosed trailer and parked in the parking lot closest to the highway. We arrived at 12:30 am and got up to leave at 7:30am. My truck got broken into, they smashed the door up to get in, cut my steering wheel with a hacksaw to get 'The Club' off, smashed the ignition out and caused some other damage in the fuse panel. Thanks to other preventative measures they were unable to steal the truck but they definitely tried hard. I asked the person at the front counter if I could see their security footage, as there was a camera facing my truck. The guy behind the counter, at 8 am on Sunday Jan 29th 2017, said 'I could not see them because it was private video' then said they could release the footage if I made a police report. Then very suspiciously asked if I was going to make a police report. Then asked again if I was going to make a police report, in what I felt was him trying to cover his tracks. Then watched it himself for about 3 minutes. And still would not show it to me. I immediately came to the conclusion that he was in on it based on the fact that he would not show me the footage. My truck pulled in with a nice enclosed trailer. We checked in. He called his buddies to come steal it. I would appreciate a response from the hotel in this matter.
We were driving through on our way home from Edmonton. It was late, as our flight had only gotten in at 11. So by the time we hit white court we were sleepy. The front desk was quick, polite, and efficient. She quickly found us a room. We crashed into a king, and THE MOST comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept it. Combine that with a super comfortable pillow, and it was like heaven. The room was very clean and nice. I wish there was an option to turn just the fan on the ax/heat unit tho. I sleep with white noise. It wasn't a big deal, as I have an app on my phone. We didn't stay for the breakfast, although it looked like there were lots of options. Will stay again if we are ever in the area.
I stayed one night for business. When checking in, the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I was a little concerned that my room was not on the top floor (I like it quiet) and it was near the elevator. She said it was a quiet room because it was a separate bedroom, but she would move me if I wanted to. I gave it a try and was not disappointed. Great sleep. Thanks for a good night's sleep.
I like the quiet location just outside downtown. Deer were eating the grass in the field across the street. This hotel is clean and comfortable with a very solid feel. Beds and bedding are fantastic as it should be. Breakfast is pretty much a full menu. I stayed in room 301 which is directly across from the ice machine which is incredibly loud especially when it discharges a fresh batch. It would be nice to be able to adjust the pressure setting of the shower head with its 3 basic settings. It appears as though it is a rain style head but sadly it is not. Point deducted. 3 things a hotel room needs to be awesome. Comfy bed, good shower and quiet. Otherwise really nice place.
Passing through on my way around Western Alberta for business. Good hotel with comfortable beds, close to restaurants, and good amenities. Check-in was quick and easy and breakfast was your typical express offering, though not isn't a complaint. Will recommend to colleagues.
This is a clean hotel with optic TV which I have at home so that was a plus. I stayed 3 nights without issue, breakfast was included. Good experience overall. The showers had decent pressure, had no problem finding parking.
An impromptu romantic escape landed us here for the night, and we were very impressed. Our room was nicely furnished, clean, comfortable and quiet with a free wifi connection (to check in on the kids!) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!
