Overall amazing property, great location, easily accessible to almost everywhere around Whistler and great staff! Special mention to Isabella from reception and Iryna from housekeeping for their exceptionally friendly service! They also let us take a bear spray for free while we were going on trails. And cherry on top was the wine we recieved as we were Expedia VIP customer! So had a great experience, highly recommended.

The onsite paid parking is very tight. If you have a larger vehicle, or even some smaller SUVs, it would probably be better to go for the day parking lots close by. View was of the hot tubs, so not spectacular

A Good Place to stay in Whistler

Very nice hotel in the heart of Whistler Village. Staff was great, friendly & accommodating. Room was good, but the balcony was tiny with space for just one person to sit. Only complaint, other than the usual (additional) parking fees you always need to take into account when staying here.

SUMMIT LODGE LOVELY green gem - plaza AND in woods

What a gem! Cozy, welcoming, warm. We loved Summit Lodge. Felt like a mountain getaway should feel! LOVE this end of the village - near the Olympic Plaza - quieter, greener, more cozy spots with open mountain views to sit, drink coffee & eat all of the treats from Purebread (omg, you gotta try it). 10 min walk to the lifts but a world away from the crowds & concrete jungle of the central village. Summit Lodge has a very welcoming staff - they greeted us kindly & took care of all of our needs & questions. Rustic & modern lobby. Our room was a studio with a big comfy bed, a well appointed kitchenette & a calming view of the forest and pool. The pool & hot tub were heated up & lovely on a rainy Autumn Day. My partner really enjoyed the evening gummy treats at the front desk. Great coffee, restaurants and groceries within steps (crepes & Laurette - yum - Fresh Street Market) SUMMIT LODGE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. (one small picky point - the art felt like it could use a refresh - not sure why we had that giant cutesy dog painting in our cozy mountain room - we did love the colors & the wallpaper)
