A bit hard to find if you take the airport shuttle that stops at the main JR terminal but it is a quaint modern hotel situated in the suburbs of Hachioji. free coffee in the lobby, tiny work out room, lots of restaurant and malls nearby including quickie marts open 24/7. The rooms are small which is the Japanese standard but well equipped with a/c, mini fridge & full size bathroom with auto toilet basin. Housekeeping kept our room clean daily and the front desk staff help us arrange transportation on our last day as well as assist in shipping our luggage.
Less that 1 minute from Keio Hachioji Station and about 40 minutes from Shinjuku. Recommended for Travelers wanting to visit Mount Takao. Everything is nearby the hotel, bars, restaurants and convenience stores. The hotel staff were very pleasant. I would recommend trying the advanced booking deals. For what I paid, my room was very good. Very spacious compared to some business hotels I have stayed in, in Japan. The room has a refrigerator, so you can stock up with drinks from the convenience store. The bathroom was okay, however I couldn't take a shower standing completely straight up. I am 180 cm, please see the bathroom pic for details. The brown part of the ceiling, would not let me stand up. So I really had to bend my neck. It was the first time I have experienced this in Japan. As I have stayed, in many business hotels. Overall I would recommend this hotel and stay there again. The main advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the station and the Keio Line which is cheaper than JR. if you are planning to see what central Tokyo has on offer, I would not stay here. You can probably find something similar for the same price if you look around.
Hachioji-b hotel, located some 30km west of Tokyo is a cheap hotel, considering its vicinities. I travelled alone and paid 420 JPY per night. Even though the single room was small it was very comfortable and very quiet. The bed was comfortable and there were multiple pillows. This hotel is close to both metro and JR train station. The walk to Hachioji JR Station takes 7 min. The walk to Keio-hachioji metro takes 45 sec. If you are planning to visit Shibuya or Asakusa you will have to change metro lines a couple of times. So as a base for sightseeing Tokyo, it gets tiring as you spend some 2-3 hours everyday on the metro. However, Keio-Hachioji metro takes you directly to Shinjuku, a 35min ride that costs 380JPY. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was extraordinarily clean. I had mistakenly booked a smoking room but the staff arranged for a non-smoking room without problem. Because of the distance to central Tokyo I would recommend this hotel if you have some 4-5 days to spend in Tokyo. By the way, Hachioji JR is on the railroad from Tokyo to Fujiyoshida where you can get some breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji on a sunny day.
very good. Limujin bus station is near. Good location and cleaned room is according to my need. There are two mini stores(7-11 & Familymart) near hotel. There are any restaurants what you can choose.I will order again.
This hotel is very nice and the room is great too. A private shower/bathroom is in each room and the breakfast buffet is very good. The room comes with a desk and chair, mini fridge and tv. The view was..alright, as I was facing other apartments/hotels, but it was on the 11th floor I think so it was cool being so high up. It was really hard to find this hotel at first but after I found where I was going I realized it's actually a short walk to the station.
Best hotel for the business trip to the west side of Tokyo. Very close to the train station. Lots of convenience stores around the hotel. Reasonable price, great cost performance. Standard single room may be too small for you though.
I made arrangements to have a package delivered to the hotel. Since I was not in my room the package had to be returned for a follow up delivery. The staff left a memo stating that it was in the hotel's policy to not accept purchased items on behalf of the customer. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find this policy in the "terms and conditions for accommodations" booklet in both English and Japanese, to verify the actual policy. So check with the Front Desk if you have packages delivered to the hotel.
The location of this hotel is super convenient. There are hourly express bus from both Narita and Haneda airport that drops you off right across from the hotel, and going back is just as convenient. The two main subway that connects Hachioji is both within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel, and from there you can get to downtown Tokyo and anywhere in Japan. There are shopping malls and all kinds of restaurants around the hotel. If you have to have your Starbucks to start your day, there is one across from the hotel and 2 more down the street. You will never go hungry or out of shopping ideas in the area. The rooms are very typical of Tokyo that is small but clean and comfortable. The only turnoff from staying here is that hotel management seem to be very strict about check in and out time. I arrived at 2 PM and was told that check in is at 3 and will cost 1,000 yen extra. And when I was packing up my luggage getting ready to check out, I got a call at 11:15 AM telling me that it's time to go. I will definitely stay at this hotel again provided that they keep the rate low.
The web pictures are generous. My single was small but efficiently laid out, bed very comfortable and with 2 pillows (hard and soft), close to JR station, very close to Keio station. Good variety breakfast. Older budget hotel popular with Chinese tourists.
very convenient hotel. it is the best hotel to stay alone for a business trip in Hachioji. kind of loud though - due to other customers from other countries. i would definitely stay at this hotel again
