Just had a drink in the pub and sat in the pub garden very clean and tidy waiting for transfer to Emmerdale nice area nice Gardens pleasant staff would like to stay in the hotel some other time didn't get time to look around hotel rooms

My husband and I stayed for 1 night on 12 August to attend a family wedding. We booked a standard double room which was perfect for the few hours we actually slept ! The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The staff members we met were efficient, courteous and polite. The reception room was situated at the rear of Weetwood Hall with a marquee at the entrance, canapes and drinks were served at this location which was an ideal area to meet family members who we hadn't seen recently. The wedding breakfast was very enjoyable, well presented and freshly prepared.

Staff here are lovely but I have never stayed in such a noisy hotel. Beds very uncomfortable, shower poor and take your own toiletries as just a big tube of unidentified gel. However, the food (except breakfast) was good and the staff, as noted above were all friendly and incredibly helpful.

Stayed here for work- no complaints on the room or amenities . The breakfast is good , plenty of well cooked good ingredients. The business centre was fine, well looked after , wifi easy to use, plenty of parking . I think it's ideal for business not sure if I would stay here for leisure though. Really lacks a gym/pool.

I have just had a two night stay at your hotel, along with my family. We were attending a wedding and we were very impressed by the service. My family were arriving at different times on Saturday morning and the rooms were made available for them to get changed; just as soon as they had been cleaned after the previous nights occupants. Nothing was too much trouble and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Just to say thank you!

I had a fantastic experience at Weetwood Hall when we stayed for 2 nights in May. Super friendly staff, they can't do enough for you. The location is great, close to the airport and a good walk into Headingly where there is a number of restaurants and bars. They do a great affiliation with the fabulous David Lloyd gym which we took advantage of on both days, and even pick you up and drop you off too which is a nice touch. Would totally recommend.

We selected this property for its convenient position on the ring road and its nearness to family we were visiting. The standard double room was a single room with a double bed - budget hotels provide more space etc. The modern Convive restaurant on site was excellent - but we didn't want to eat there both nights of our stay. Unfortunately we had no option as the 'traditional pub' with locally sourced food on site advertised in all the hotel's particulars on line and in leaflets etc. has changed to providing wraps, burgers, pizza and baked potatoes ...We consider ourselves to have been mislead : not what we were expecting. The breakfast was good though other than the thermos tea and coffee and the staff were attentive. As a conference and wedding venue it may well be 4* but it certainly wasn't for us by a long shot.

Stayed here before flying out of Leeds Bradford airport, Good price for night plus 10 night parking Check was quick and painless Room was a fairly decent size and very clean We arrived late on so we used the Italian restaurant never went in the bar Would recommend this hotel

Went this afternoon for cream tea was one of the best ones we had. The staff are lovely and helpfull. Would go ago. Nice chilled out afternoon. We asked for more tea to drink and we got it. Really nice afternoon

Oh dear.. truly dreadful vegan afternoon BIRTHDAY tea. It consisted of cheap white bread finger sandwiches which had been prepared well in advance, as the tops were dried out & the bottoms were soggy. The 'sandwiches' contained 3 wafer thin slices of cucumber OR 2 slices of tomato. I believe the 3rd 'filling' was 2 slices of grilled/fried (hard to tell which) aubergine. There were further chopped tomatoes on 2 very small brusettas. These had a garlic dressing which I am allergic to so asked for them to be replaced minus the dressing. The entire 'platter' was removed & then returned minus the brusettas. So the 'platter' was removed a 2nd time & returned garlic free. [Clearly the waiter wasn't listening] The sweet top section was a biscuit, 2 thin slices of watermelon & pineapple & 2 pots of jam. !! The brusettas' were just about palatable & the fruit but that was it. My friends had a carivour selection which they enjoyed.. This included different fillings (still in cheap white bread) & ciech. Their sweets were chocolate mini buns & victoria sponge mini buns & scones with cream & jam. Admittedly I couldn't eat these but where was the imagination for vegans? There are plenty of sandwiche fillings that are cost affected against ham/fish/cheese etc. Granary /wholemeal/rye/brown breads etc are options against that disgusting white. Grapes/blueberries/strawberries/ blackberries/peaches/plums all the summer fruits are in season & not expensive !! It's really not that difficult to satisfy everyone whilst dinning out. A little research on the internet would have given the, quite clearly inexperienced chef, some ideas above cucumber & tomato !! I realise the teas are price based but how can the price for cucumber, tomatoes & fruit represent good value for money when compared to meat/fish fillings & baked desserts. ?? As a final ps....a platter had to be returned due to the discovery of a long hair in the sandwiches.
