I arrived, great reception greeting, nice and clean, and room very spacious and clean. Bar and food choice limited but very good value and very tasty. Woke up most nights about 3pm to noise of traffic outside even with window closed. If you a light sleeper then not for you, otherwise fantastic !
Stayed here for one night 10/11/17. The hotel is basic but clean and what you would expect from this chain. Decent breakfast. Central location, though in a dismal part of town with lots of youths hanging around and dark, unappealing alleyways right next to a multistory car park. However, we were quite pleased with out choice until we were woken at 2am with the loud shrill of the fire alarm. After about 10 minutes of intermittent sounding we made our way to reception as it was unclear what was going on as no member of staff was anywhere to be seen. Once we got to reception it turned out to be a false alarm but at no point were we spoken to by either of the 2 front of house staff or the 2 security/maintenance men who all seemed to be trying to switch the alarm off. This went on for about an hour. We all went back to our rooms to hopefully get some sleep but then the alarm went off again about an hour later!!! This carried on for another half an hour. Was it a real fire this time?? who knows, as again no member of staff was present to deal with it. It is obvious this hotel does NOT have an EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN. None of the staff seemed to have any training of what to do in an emergency. Once the alarm goes off and been assessed to be a false alarm it should be re set and fully 100% working in case of a real fire emergency. If you are safety conscious, as most of us are these days, I would not recommend this hotel or any in this chain as safety or its customers is of no concern to them.
Fire alarm goes off at 2am. totally okay with that - after all an alarm is an alarm. general state of confusion in hallways - so I take charge and have people follow me to the fire escape and outside. no member of staff visible. eventually a member of staff explains its a false alarm and gives a mumbled excuse. 3.20am. same again so I call reception to be told no its okay go back to bed. its now 3.42am and the alarm is still sounding. again no update / guidance from member of staff. total shambles.
Stay here for our day trip and really enjoyed our night stay here. The room was nice and really well cleaned reasonable price and the service. We find it easy to go anywhere else when stayed here. Would stay again if we come back. Would recommend!
Young girl on check in was lovely, on first glance nice room...however don't know who cleaned but there was a condom in the bin in the room obviously been used...this is disgusting...on checkout we were running late. Was told it was £10 extra for every hour we over stayed which we paid whilst we're trying to sort getting home. However despite this bang on 12pm getting knocks on the door from reception asking why we hadn't checked out...thought it was quite rude as we would have prob booked another night if it wasn't for the dirty bin and management skills
Arrived early and expected to leave luggage but told a room was available. Discounts available in some nearby restaurants but did not use. Room pleasant and spacious, bed was a little soft and sagged in centre Nice spacious shower and temperature easily controlled. Large soft towels Not keen on Kenco coffee so brought our own Hotel conveniently located to City Hall where we had a meeting. Also close to Bradford Interchange Breakfast was excellent, bacon & sausage very tasty and scrambled egg was nice and moist. Good choice of cereals and bread
Stayed twice and happy with the service, room size, bed quality and breakfast quality. Free WiFi quality is also awsome. To dine outside you have many choices in walking distance from 2 minutes up to 10 minutes.
The staff were very friendly & accommodating. Cannot thank them enough. Location is as central as you could hope for. The rest of the hotel is as you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express - straight forward & convenient.
Having stayed in a number of hotels in this chain I can say that the rooms are always good value but this one had by far the best breakfast well done Bradford, as for the staff they too were brilliant especially the night time staff and the breakfast staff. The downside is that the parking is £4 for 24 hours I know not expensive but still I do expect free parking and the maze we found trying to find the place But overall a good stay
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, short walk into centre of Bradford. Quite a few restaurants just outside hotel a cinema, bowling alley & casino ideal location, breakfast was lovely a lot of choices, all in all an ideal location, will visit again.
