Lovely hotel right on the beach. We are in the bar restaurant and thought it was very good. The rooms are warm and comfortable. We stayed in the annex and the stairs area let it down a little as it needed a good hoover - although it's a very busy hotel so I think the messiness maybe due to the number of guests using the stairs. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful but the grouting and silicone around the shower was black and mildewy. Just age and use really but definitely was in need of a make over (a re-grout). I would definitely stay again if I was back in the area.

The hotel is great, staff and service all brilliant. Stunning views if you get a sea view room. The only thing which stopped me scoring 5 stars was the breakfast - had the full Scottish which was a bit disappointing.

Absolutely amazing venue for a Wedding. The views of Arran is spectacular. Quilt bedding could be upgraded. Disappointed that we didn’t get our spa booking. However, we enjoyed a relaxing swim in the pool.

We stayed originally for 2 nights. We had to leave a day early because my wife became unwell. They moved us to a room with an elevator. The room we were given had wallpaper peeling from small areas of the wall. Window sill had laminate missing. The toilet door paint was bubbling up. But, the staff were very helpful. The room had a great view. The food is brilliant. Overall the hotel is brilliant. They said that this block of rooms are going to be refurbished. It is a beautiful hotel and the area is wonderful. I will definitely be back sometime in the future.
