Receptionist was welcoming and friendly ,room was clean but looked little tired .fridge in the room was a welcome addition .amazing view of square .Was a little noisey if we left window open overnight and needed too as room was warm .Tv didn’t seem to work . Breakfast served was a good standard with plenty of choice . Location is amazing with on street parking directly outside would definitely stay again ,good value for money . Would stay again

Hotel was great location right in the square, however, i was looking for hotel o leper not just hotel o. Rooms could do with updating. Our room had a broken mirror, broken shower rail and the radiator wouldnt switch off which meant i had to have the window open all night and didnt sleep well due to noise outside. Breakfast was best thong about hotel, it was lovely!

Needs improvement, but great location

A very central location. Having stayed here before, we were keen to stay again. Unfortunately, the standards have fallen significantly over the last year and there are clear maintenance issues i.e. my friend and I both had broken mirrors in our rooms. Overlooking these issues, the room was comfortable and we had a great view of the main square. And the breakfast was really good.

Great stay

Great stay, fantastic location, plenty of parking in the market square and disabled badge holders park free. Loads of places to eat and drink and a stones throw away from the Menin Bridge

Excellent hotel, if too hot.

The hotel is in an excellent location in Ypres and for the price was great! My single room was large and had a bath (which was a great advantage for me as I was on a bike riding holiday and able to ease tired legs in it). The breakfast was plentiful and the staff friendly. The bike storage room was great and safe. The only downside was my room was far too hot, so I struggled to sleep both nights I stayed.

Excellent.

This hotel is absolutely excellent, especially when you consider the price. Right in the middle of town with literally a one minute walk to the main square. Tidy bathroom, comfy bed, friendly staff and it even includes breakfast. I will definitely return.

Good bike friendly place

Good place to stay if visiting Ypres. We were cycling and good bike storage with separate entrance. Good breakfast. Great central location and walkable from station.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, situated right in the main square and just steps away from major attractions—making it an ideal base for exploring the city. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast offered each morning was hearty and the coffee was good. The rooms were clean, but the overall décor felt somewhat dated and dim. A few updates or brighter touches would go a long way in making the space feel more inviting and comfortable. Overall, a pleasant stay in a prime location with wonderful service.
