This property is in a prime location, charging reasonable prices. When first built, I bet it was a stunning building. Here we are in 2025, and it’s clean but 2AW is rough around the edges. Upgrades to AC need to be completed, replacing worn furniture and stained mattresses. Turtles nest could be perfection. As it is, it’s an ok apartment in a stunning location. Staff were wonderful, but manage your expectations accordingly.

Poor human values.

We had a booking at this property but lost the reservation due to an health emergency, so review is based on Human interaction, their lack of sensitivity and empathy towards a tragedy, and not on the stay itself. I booked this trip for my girlfriend's birthday. Two weeks before our trip started, her father passed away suddenly, which was devastating for her. She flew to Argentina to bury her dad and came back to Miami, where we live. She didn't have time to mourn the death of her father, when 5 days before our trip began, her mother became ill and was in a critical condition. She went from losing her father to the possibility of losing her mother within a month. We flew back to Argentina to be with her mom, knowing that we'd be losing this trip to Anguilla. I decide to reach out to the hotel directly and explain the situation in detail hoping that they could make an exception and not lose this 3 night reservation. I didn't purchase the Trip Protection and I was aware of their Cancellation Policy, I just hoped to see if there was another option, because I really wanted this trip for her after all she went through unexpectedly. I received an email back, with just one line " Unfortunately your reservation is nonrefundable nor changeable" Like I said on the email in response to such a lovely and warm response, the money lost is irrelevant at this point, but your astonishing lack of sensitivity and empathy towards a tragedy is sad.

Truly amazing resort and location

Hi friends, The Turtles Nest was absolutely great. I highly recommend - but if you're going on the same week we want to go, than I don't recommend :). We visited in offseason, so island much less busy. We called it Aruba light. Beauty of the island and beaches without the noisy people and crowds. The pictures are not exaggerations - it's directly on Meads Bay Beach. Between the Malliohana resort and Four Seasons, with Straw Hat restaurant next door. Pool is quiet, but steps from beach. We found Meads Bay beach to be cleaner and wider than Shoal. No weads. Water is clear, clear, clear. Maid service was excellent, room was very large, clean and updated. Staff all super friendly. We got a suite, it was like a condo with an ocean view and patio. Out of our budget typically, but this was an anniversary trip, and my wife is worth it. Straw Hat highly recommended for Bkfst, Lunch and Dinner if you don't want to drive around. Can't say enough.

Beach was wonderful. Lots of space, chairs and plenty of towels. Room was large and Air conditioning was plenty cold. Washer and dryer in the room was great. Grocery store is really close but if you’re looking to make meals or just grab snacks and drinks. Bathroom was a bit crowded but fine for us.
