We love Beachlands Holiday Park. We stay here in our caravan two to three times a year and really enjoy ourselves. Sometimes there are a few of us and other times we just stay by ourselves. Gavin runs the park so well. All the girls in the office are great and are so friendly and helpful. And we have found that nothing is too much trouble for Clem. From the moment you are shown onto your caravan site and you've set up it's time to relax. The sites are big - some have concrete pads and the remainder have shade cloth pads. The swimming pool and water playground area is just wonderful and the playground is so good for little kids (and big kids when there aren't any little ones around!) The ablutions are exceptionally clean and the laundry areas are great with plenty of line space if needed. The location of the park is great too. Close to Busselton and within easy walking distance to the beach. There is a bike track which goes all the way to the Marina in one direction and to Dunsborough in the other - which makes for great rides!!!! We always take our bikes and enjoy exploring followed by a swim in the pool in summer! We thoroughly recommend Beachlands and always enjoy our time spent there.
We booked Beachlands Holiday Park in one of the Bungalows overlooking the playground late in May for a family getaway weekend. If I could rate this Holiday Park more than 5 stars I would. This place is amazing! My daughter loved the playground and giant bouncy pillow and the accomodation was clean and tidy and just lovely. Awesome location and friendly staff and facilities are top notch. Such a great weekend away, we will be back for sure.
My husband and I wanted to take our Labradoodle puppy on her first holiday so I phoned Big4 Beachlands Holiday Park to make arrangements. Sue was very efficient and we booked a one bedroom Chalet which was available on a special rate. We were very impressed with the Chalet and the welcome on our arrival. They even gave our puppy a treat gift! The Chalet had a table and four chairs, a two seater lounge, a good size refrigerator with large freezer, a well appointed kitchen, T.V. ,a separate bedroom with comfortable Queen size bed and large wardrobe. The bathroom was clean and the shower was wonderful. Oh, did I mention Wi-Fi was free and worked! We had parking right outside our Chalet door.
I have stayed in a lot of Big 4 parks with only one poor stay; until now. We arrived here to find the office unmanned. Around 10 minutes later 2 female staff members meander back towards the office engaged conversation. They don't even greet us as they walk in the office, continuing their chat before finally acknowledging that we were there. Then we were duly charged $53, 53 & 63 for a Wed/Thurs/Friday, less Big 4 discount. Not sure why the rates are so expensive here? The next 3 things were what was good about the park. The older gentleman who led us to our site showed what customer service is. Maybe he should look after the front office! The pool & amenities are also quite lovely. That's where it ends, with a huge influx of vans on the Friday which led to an early afternoon to late night loud party. 80 odd adults & kids taking over the park. Children running through other patrons sites while their parents drank on allowing it to occur, along with riding scooters around & around the amenities block. If you wanted to use the camp kitchen, then you were out of luck as it was party home base. Adults continued holding loud conversations around the amenities block & behind patrons caravans. This all went unchallenged until 11:15PM, when someone finally did something. When patrons are trying to sleep before travelling, they had no hope of a decent sleep. Next morning there were beer bottles everywhere, including in toilets. This is not acceptable. When we went to check out, it was an imposition to refund our boom gate key deposit; the cappuccino machine seemed far more important for sobering up the sore party goers. We will never be back, nor will we recommend this park. It was not worthy of being in the Big 4 chain & makes me regret extending my Big 4 membership.
Everything at this park was well maintained. The facilities were excellent, one of the best camp kitchens. The staff were most helpful. It was an excellent location to the town and jetty. It would be an excellent park for families
Beachland is a very well maintained and well run Holiday Park with a perfect location nearby Busselton Jetty. The staff were very friendly. The staff were very friendly and there was a good atmosphere. We had a good cabin 150 m from a lovely beach. We were very happy with the stay.
Everything was perfect. Amazing facilities on-site for our kids with a really fantastic, large, heated pool. Location is great with a very short walk to a stunning beach. Sites are spacious and level. Very happy and will return again.
I stayed in Beachlands Holiday Park from the 1st to the 4th of March, in a “villa” type of accommodation. The ‘Free wi-fi’ advertised was not available in my chalet at any point during my stay. The advertised ‘heated pool’ was nowhere near what one would expect of a heated pool. My children were shivering in the water at midday on a 30ish degree day. After complaint, the park did not even acknowledged the issues, not to mention to reimburse the extra costs I had with my internet service provider.
This was our first trip to Busselton and this is exactly where we will be staying when we are back and we will be back. The staff are just so warm and friendly, we took our dog and she couldn’t have been more welcomed and accommodated. The villa was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The girls couldn’t get enough of the pool and jumping pillow and the beach is a very very short walk away. Love it here and can’t wait to come back.
We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay in one of the Spa Villas. This was our first time at Beachlands after trying a number of other disappointing parks in the area. The villa was great, it was clean, private and provided everything we needed, although personally I would rather substitute the dishwasher for an oven, but it’s not a deal breaker. We had a few maintenance issues with our unit but these were dealt with straight away and reception were great about it. The location of the park is fantastic with very close proximity to the beach, a lovely calm quiet beach at that. Every staff member I dealt with was friendly and helpful and their communication couldn’t have been better. We will definitely be back! Thanks Beachlands.
