Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. Facilities: washing machine, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smoking house. Mezzanine not suitable for children. Family of 6 in Wengen for 4 nights (kids 18, 16, 13, 11)

We were wanting to explore the Jungfrau region and have a "jumping point" for many towns. We decided on Wengen for its charm, size, reviews & also needed a place to sleep 6 with a washer and modest kitchen. We chose this home due to all of that. It does state in the description it is far from the train station and that it is! You must or I'd highly recommend a taxi to and from the train station with your luggage. The views however are AMAZING adhering the cows with their bells was music to my ears. The hot water does run out quick -so we had to do 4/5 minute showers to get 6 people showered at night. My kids. LOVED it - as it was true Swiss charm, but if you need a place to easily get back to during the day and want to come and go this is not the place. We left in the am and returned after dinner. It's a GOOD 15 min walk (a lot of up hill) to and from the chalet. It's very quaint however and like I said the views can't be beat!
