Best VRBO I've stayed at.
Communication with the owner was excellent. I've stayed in 4 different VRBO homes in NC mountains. This was the best. Very clean well kept. Owner gives you ideas of places to go. I had been to a few before. But, the information was great! I will be using the cabin again when we go to the mountains.

great base for local hikes
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Larger than we really needed but oh, that hot tub felt good after a day of hiking. Lots of really nice trails within an easy drive.
The cabin was beautifully appointed and especially pleasant the day we realized we'd overdone it and needed a rest day. The host was very informative with excellent recommendations for local attractions and activities.
We hope to visit again.

Firstly, host communication was superb! The cabin was well located and had every single thing we could possibly want. Including luxury soap/shampoos etc in all bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking items. We loved the property, the hot tub, the porch swings! It was the perfect stay for our family and we will definitely return!

Had everything we wanted
Loved the cabin and all the amenities. Great thought was given to details. We loved that we had salt, pepper, condiments…many places do not…it’s another thing to buy and pack. Had plenty of essentials such as toiletries. It’s the little things.

Cozy weekend getaway
From the time we arrived at Pear Tree Cabin, to the time we departed, was nothing short of wonderful! The cabin was even better than the pics and description online. I absolutely loved all of the antique furniture the creaks of the floor, and smells of the wood stove. The updated kitchen and bathrooms fit beautifully with the antique vibe. I was able to spend some time alone while my family and a couple friends went zip lining and rafting for my daughter’s 16th birthday. I used my time to sit outside and catch up on my reading. I did not even look at my phone all weekend.
Other things worth mentioning: the cabin was fully stocked with EVERYTHING, the mattresses and pillows were amazing, communication with owner was great, and the place is huge! I love the attention to all the little details. When teenage girls love it, you know it’s pretty awesome!

Wonderful
Great location, short drive to many places (Asheville, stores, restaurants etc) and yet a quiet peaceful get away. Kellie was kind enough to stock with some local beverages that the men enjoyed. The house was everything we needed and accommodated our family of 5 adults and 2 grandparents. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

Lovely Cabin in the Woods
Pear Tree Cabin was the perfect spot for our family getaway to the NC Mountains this weekend. It was well equipped with everything we could imagine we needed. Kellie left us with some welcome goodies of local beers and juice and sodas for the kids. The TVs had Amazon Firesticks so we didn't even have to get ours out. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and showers were stocked with everything we needed. They even had a cooler that we could use when we went on our day trip to Mt. Mitchell and lawn chairs to use when we had a fire in the firepit. The beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows for each of us. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, a griddle, muffin pan (we usually make muffins at least once) and glasses for anything we needed. We had such a great time and will definitely try to stay here again if we are back in the area. Thank you!

Fourth of July Family Vacation
We had a wonderful week at the cabin from Wisconsin! Everything was perfect from cleanliness, comfy beds, welcome goodies, to little things like having qtips in the bathrooms , beach towels and folding camp chairs. We have a hot tub and home and love that the cabin had one as well. Spent many nights at the fire pit or just relaxing on the deck. Bugs non existent compared to WI.. which was nice! Very peaceful and quiet after a day of adventures in Asheville. We went white water rafting with Asheville Adventure Company, drove to see Looking glass falls and sliding rock. So much fun had by all. We would definitely choose to stay again at Pear Tree if back in the area.

The perfect spot to explore the Asheville area
My husband, teen children and a friend with her daughter stayed in this wonderful home. The home is beautiful and fully stocked. The host even left a few local goodies for us to sample. Unfortunately, she has now spoiled me, and I now expect that every VRBO host should do this! We loved the hot tub and fire pit. Weaverville was about 20-25 minutes from Asheville, and we also explored hiking trails near and far. We will definitely stay here again if we visit this area again.

Beautiful rustic cabin with everything you need provided. The cabin is located in a thick wooded area with plenty of shade. More than enough chairs are available for relaxing on the front and back decks. The hot tub, gas grill and fire pit add to this awesome home. Clean and quiet.
The cabin was perfect for our family. It was very clean and spacious with a nice basement/game room for the kids. The porch is a nice, quiet place to unwind after a day of activities. The host was very nice and communicative. They left some local treats for the adults and kids. We would definitely recommend the cabin for those looking to get away but also be within distance of the downtown scene.

Amazing cabin
Well from the start it was outstanding. The hosts left us some snacks and drinks, even a little gift under the tree. There was some snow on the ground still so the kids loved that. The cabin was perfect, lots of room for our family of 7. The area is awesome, close to everything from breweries, Asheville, snow tubing, lots of places to eat. Lots of info and suggestions in the cabin about the area. Everyone wants to come back next year and make it a tradition!!

Great Experience
The cabin was clean, roomy, and we really enjoyed the layout. The hosts were the most welcoming hosts we’ve ever had. They went above and beyond our expectations. They set the bar high for other hosts. If you’re wanting to stay in the area you will not be disappointed staying here. Everything we had planned on doing was a 30 min drive or less.
