What a wonderful place in the country. House had everything we needed. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the front and back porches.Host was superb, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. Very easy to get places in and around Weatherford. Would definitely stay here again.

We left a day early due to the condition of the property. It was quite dirty including food splatter in the microwave, dust all over the furniture. Crumbs and dirt under tables, including prescription medicine under the dining table. One of the beds was falling apart with all supports broken underneath. Toilet ran continuously. Dishwasher did not work. A/C vents filthy. Missing smoke detectors. Shower head falling off. Not remodeled anytime recently as listing states. Dead roaches under the beds and in bathroom. Many lights out. There is a house directly next door with barking dogs, so limited privacy. On a good note, there was plenty of hot water and the A/C worked. House has potential but needs work.

Easy Living

The home was well designed with a bedroom and bathroom at each end. The living area was ooen space in the middle with large windows for great outside views. Sunrise and sunset are visible from the porches on each side of the home. Very relaxed feel.

Quiet and relaxing

We found this property looking for a quiet place to spend July 4 without all the noise for both our elder dog and myself. Stacia and David were so nice and their property was so quiet! Could barely hear anything! Definitely will be staying again!!

Wildflower Beauty!

We stayed 3 nights for a local event, and loved the quiet and beauty of this place. It is convenient to everything local, but so peaceful and relaxing. The wildflowers on the property were amazing!

Fabulous stay

First off, prior to our arrival the communications were outstanding. Couldn’t ask for better. When we walked in the door we felt a great vibe & felt at home. The home was clean and all the amenities you could ever need and plenty of space. The views from the front porch with our morning coffee was beautiful! Perfect privacy although the hosts were the kind of people you could hang on the fence line and have a conversation with. If indeed we needed anything they would attend to it immediately. Couldn’t ask for nicer people. Complete Texas country atmosphere but yet just minutes from any shopping and amenities. Minutes from the highway. In close, my husband and I stayed for 54 days while visiting family and felt at home every minute of our stay. Actually…. We have already booked our next stay a couple months from now.

Easter weekend

Hosts were great from start to finish. I have stayed here numerous times before and this place never disappoints. Quiet, peaceful, close enough to town to get anything you need but far enough away to enjoy your space. Highly recommend.

Excellent Stay

Love, love, love this place

This is the third time we've stayed at this property, and I can't say enough good things about it or the thoughtful, gracious hosts, Stacia and David. The tranquil country location is close to both Weatherford and the Dallas/Fort Worth metro, so pretty much anything a person could need is within an hour's drive. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is incredibly convenient, and the open floor plan between the ends of the house is spacious and welcoming. When we're there, we fill the birdfeeder in the front yard and enjoy watching the impressive variety of birds from the front porch swing. We will continue to return in the years to come because it makes me happy to simply be there.

Just what we needed

Stacia is very accessible and extremely easy to work with. The home was exactly what we needed and was very comfortable for us. I enjoyed my coffee each morning on the peaceful front porch. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

A great vacation spot

The stay here was amazing! The house was clean, comfortable, and had a very homie feel. Stacia gave great restaurant recommendations. I arrived ahead of schedule because traffic was light. She was understanding and it was not a problem to get into the house. It is peaceful on the property; not too close to town and not too far away. There are many attractions to visit in the area and good restaurants to eat at.
