We are here to help! We are available from 9 AM to 6 PM EST daily. While we do not have on-site staff, we make every effort to monitor messages after hours for non-emergencies and will always do our best to assist you as quickly as possible.

Parking: Private gravel driveway.
Roads: Roads are mostly paved; however, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is recommended if snow or icy conditions are expected. ❄️🏔️

Road Conditions: The roads leading to the cabin are mostly paved and well-maintained. 🛣️
Winter Travel: Please note that mountain weather can change quickly. If snow or icy conditions are expected during your stay, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is highly recommended to ensure a safe climb and descent. ❄️🏔️
⛰️ A Few Things to Know
Cottontail is made for enjoying the mountains! Relax in the covered hot tub, gather around the fire pit, grill on the deck, play ping pong, foosball or arcade games, enjoy the fenced yard, and take in the beautiful mountain surroundings.
📍 Mountain Setting: Expect winding roads, changing weather and natural mountain conditions. AWD/4WD is recommended in winter.
🐾 Pets: Dogs are welcome for a $150 non-refundable pet fee per stay, covering up to 2 dogs. Additional dogs may be considered with prior approval.
🚽 Well & Septic: The home uses a private well and septic system. Please conserve water and flush only the provided septic-safe toilet paper.
🎥 Security: Exterior cameras monitor the driveway and outdoor access points. There are no cameras inside the home or in private outdoor areas.
🔥 Hot Tub & Fire Pit: Please follow posted safety instructions and supervise children. Hot tub availability cannot be guaranteed in the event of an unexpected mechanical issue.
💳 Reservation & Damage: Your Airbnb cancellation policy applies. Guests are responsible for damage or missing items as outlined in the rental agreement and applicable policies.
🚨 Evacuations: Mandatory evacuation orders must be followed. North Carolina law provides specific provisions regarding vacation rentals and evacuations.
👥 Guests: Only registered guests are permitted. Parties and unauthorized events are not allowed.
🔞 Age: The primary guest must be at least 25 years old.
📋 North Carolina Vacation Rental Agreement
THIS IS A VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT UNDER THE NORTH CAROLINA VACATION RENTAL ACT. THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES TO THIS AGREEMENT ARE DEFINED BY LAW AND INCLUDE UNIQUE PROVISIONS PERMITTING THE DISBURSEMENT OF RENT PRIOR TO TENANCY AND EXPEDITED EVICTION OF TENANTS. YOUR SIGNATURE ON THIS AGREEMENT, OR PAYMENT OF MONEY OR TAKING POSSESSION OF THE PROPERTY AFTER RECEIPT OF THE AGREEMENT, IS EVIDENCE OF YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE AGREEMENT AND YOUR INTENT TO USE THIS PROPERTY FOR A VACATION RENTAL.
