Stunning view, wonderful host, charming cabin

The view of the mountains & trees are beautiful! The host was considerate, thoughtful & super responsive. The cabin is comfortable & cozy & the space has been used well. Because it's a newer home with log siding, it didn't have the musty smell some older wood cabins have. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, utensils, S&P, coffee, tea, sugar, etc. The beds were very comfortable & the showers were amazing. We loved the abundance of snuggly throws to keep us warm for sunrises & sunsets on the porch. The neighbors are not far away but hidden by the trees. It's an area where people live & work ~ not second/weekend homes like some area. It's very peaceful here, with lots of hummingbirds. It was the best long-stay I've had & I highly recommend it.

Our stay was amazing - the area was quiet and gorgeous! Orlando was immediately responsive to our questions and gave great area recommendations, and the indoor space was clean and so comfortable!!!

Awesome views

Place was great, view was spectacular but I would recommend a vehicle that is good going up the mountain it is narrow, steep and dirt roads. We made it to the location in a rental suv but it was a bit uncomfortable. Place was great though fire pit with great view and secluded. Owner super accommodating.

Hidden in plain sight

This beautiful cabin was an easy drive to get to just tucked away enough but still not too far from town. The cabin had everything you need and was super clean.

Just what we wanted

My wife wanted to spent her birthday weekend at the mountains and this cabin had all what we were looking for a family getaway. Host communication was really good. Orlando solved a couple of situations on time without disturbing our vacations. The house is cozy, well equipped, and clean. We enjoyed the amazing views and the quietness of this place. We definitely would love to repeat. Thanks Orlando for your hospitality.

35 th Anniversary weekend

We loved everything about our stay at Lookout ! Orlando was a pleasure to work with and the cabin was perfect in every way. The view is amazing and the location is convenient to Maggie Valley and Waynesville. We especially enjoyed evenings around the fire pit and stargazing. The house is beautifully appointed and has everything you might need for your stay. It was a great place for a getaway and we hope to visit again soon. Thanks for sharing your mountain home, we loved it.

Perfect location and the best mountain view

This cabin was perfect for our trip to The Smoky Mountains! It is tastefully decorated and has everything you need in the kitchen. The best part was the view of the mountains from the deck – so peaceful to sit outside in the mornings and evenings. We loved our stay!

The best ever and we will be back!

My bff for the past 34 years and I chose this as our girls getaway. It was great, had plenty of space, very updated, and amazing views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. We will be using it in the future. We decided this will be a 1-2 year annual trip and will be renting here. We even had a flat tire we discovered when we were leaving and when I notified them, they offered to call a neighbor to help. The only thing that I wish could be different on this review is that would allow me to give them a hundred stars. Highly recommend!

Great location and quaint mountain home.

Great location and quaint mountain home. It was clean, simple, and everything was an expected. Close to the mountain where we were skiing. One thing that really stands out to me was the communication with THE OWNER! He was extremely attentive to our needs. Suggested a long list of recommendations for our family (activities, restaurants, etc.) and when we did run into a hiccup (couldn't unlock the door - simple fix!), he responded within two minutes of my message. He even responded before the management company did. I was very impressed. We enjoyed our stay and will return!

Amazing location in the mountains

It was one of the best places we ever stayed. The property was clean and everything was more than what we expected. The views are amazing from the cabin. It was a little hard to get to the cabin in our sedan but it is definitely doable
