4 BD 3 BA Log Cabin Hot Tub Game Room & Awesome Views: Newly Paved Access

Ahkontshuck View, located in scenic Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Maggie Valley is nestled next to the Great Smoky Mountains. Ahkontshuck is a native Indian term for “hilly land” which describes the view from our deck. The house sits on a quiet, wooded lot at the top of a mountain that is just a few minutes from downtown Maggie Valley. At just over 3000 square feet, the house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The living room and dining room on the first floor have a cathedral ceiling with lots of windows to the view of the valley below. The Moose Trails bedroom has a queen size bed and a 27“ television with DVD and VHS players. The adjoining bathroom features a walk-in shower, a large garden tub, and vanity with his and her sinks. The Americana, Victorian and Miss Kitty’s bedrooms each have a queen size bed and a 27” television with DVD and VHS players.
Downstairs game room area includes a pool table, foosball table and card table.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a patio and 3 bathrooms, and there's space to spread out with 4 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a sofa bed.

This is a perfect place for a quiet getaway type vacation. Beautifully designed and well kept, clean place. The patio /deck has a beautiful view of sunrise over the mountains and the valley which can be enjoyed over coffee. The owners have thoughtfully well stocked the place with household items, utensils and such. There was no need to make quick runs to the stores. Appreciate the quick responses from the property manager. The driveway is quite steep - not for the faint hearted.

Beautiful Property-Exceeded Expectations

The home is highly functional (lots of fun with hot tub and game room), very close to Asheville and Cataloochee Ski Area, and has absolutely breathtaking views...deck faces East for amazing Mountain sunrise views. Home was very well equipped...truly needs nothing. The way up the mountain is a bit challenging with hairpin switchbacks...if going during the winter, recommend 4WD.

Beautiful home & location!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The view from the deck was the most majestic mountain view we have ever had. The cabin was beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking. I highly recommend this home!

Great Cabin

Our vacation in the smokies was fantastic. The cabin was clean, quiet and comfortable. The finished basement was a great place to hang out at night after a day of hiking and site seeing. We hiked to 13 different waterfalls and spent a day at Chimney Rock. Asheville is a short drive away and Waynesville is only 10-15 minutes away for any needs. The view of the valley is awesome and sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee is a great way to start the day.

Up hill climb

this was the best place to stay if you can get up the drive way we travel with our motorcycle in our van for vacation. I barley got a one ton chevy van loaded with my motorcycle up that driveway After getting up , we never left for fear of not getting back up. We drove off site with family instead of being able to take the bike . The Partial dirt / gravel portion road is not good for a motorcycle.... There needs to be a bit more better description of what's expected to get to the property. Having said all that . The property is 5 star for sure. The view is great The overall experience was great . Everything once you top the hill is awsome...

A Great Place in a Great Location

This house is off the beaten path and way up on the hill but the trip is so worth it! The view into the valley is spectacular! The house is very spacious and has the best equipped kitchen I've seen. The open living space was great for our family to spend time together. The game room was loads of fun and the hot tub was great for winding down after a long day of hiking and exploring. We traveled miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Easy access to Ashville, Smoky Mountain National Park and all the great trailheads in between.

Great view
