Absolutely amazing place! Close to a lot of activities and things to do around the area! My Family and I really loved the Cottage! The closeness to the beach and short drives to everything was phenomenal! Anytime we need to stay on the coast in the future we will definitely be booking here! Kathy and Mike were wonderful! The Cottage was clean and cozy just as described! The gift basket on arrival was a wonderful touch! The local beverages even went home to Northern British Columbia with my in-laws as souvenirs! Having personally grown up around the area, it was nice to feel like I never left! For my In-laws who came down for Jazz Fest, the rain was a little bit of a bummer. However, the cottage more than made up for that! The closeness to the Casinos and Beach kept them plenty busy and happy! Thank you, for the wonderful vacation! There isn't a high enough rating available for what this place deserves!

The property was easy to find, well maintained, clean, welcoming and the decor was spot on. We especially liked sitting on the front porch, watching the water, and hearing the surf. We had no problems with check in or out. Good communication with the owners when we decided not to get the golf cart. We will return and would recommend this property to others.

Everything you need to enjoy a stay on the Gulf coast! House was very clean and well appointed. It has everything you need. Hosts communicate very well and the beach is a super short walk away. Great location-we highly recommend!

Beautiful cottage! The kitchen, dining, living space was the very clean and super cute! The decor had the perfect beachy theme which made it the perfect beach home away from home! Each room was spacious and decorated appropriately to match the theme of the cottage! The water pressure was amazing throughout and the availability of the washer and dryer was a godsend! The bathrooms were cute and well supplied! The walk to the beach is EXACTLY 3 minutes as advertised ( we clocked it ) The communication with Kathy and Mike was easy and effortless, they made us aware of their requirements, which were all very reasonable! The beach was gorgeous, the cottage was perfect, the people were hospitable, the neighborhood was beautiful and quaint! 5 stars all around! We will definitely be back next year!

Creole Beach Cottage is just perfect! The owners have thought of everything you could ever need. The large yard is great for dogs and children. The beach is just a pleasant, SHORT walk away! We will definitely stay here again.

The property was great, and the location can't be beat: 0.1 miles down the road to a beach. In September the beach was so deserted that it practically felt like a private beach! The hosts were a joy to work with. We will definitely come back next year!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. This house is very welcoming and cozy. They even had the cutest little basket of goodies for us and everything you could need for a wonderful stay. Great location and very welcoming neighborhood.

Fun little stay

The property was perfect for a little weekend get away. My gf and I came in from NOLA to get out of the city for her bday. While the trip was planned for a while, we failed pretty bad at packing. Thankfully there were quite a few beach amenities on site that came in handy. The owners make a custom combo to get into the front door that made it very easy to remember. The location was great if you want to walk to the beach, we easily made the trip multiple times throughout the stay. All in all, we will be contacting the Creola Cottage again if we intend to stay in Waveland.

Exceeded expectations!

We had a wonderful weekend at Creola! It’s a block from the beach which is so convenient when bringing young children. The kitchen has everything you need and some things that you forgot to bring! There is also a big fenced-in back yard if your dogs come along.

Amazing discovery

This home was better than advertised and the owners have thought of all the extras you might need from items for the beach including aloe in case you get burned to well stocked kitchen. It's a dog friendly place and the yard is bigger than anticipated. Short walk to the beach and you can see from the house. We loved it and would definitely stay here again

Very charming cottage a block from the beach

The property was clean, comfortable, with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths being an additional plus. About a (short) block from the beach. Brought our two Scottish Terriers and they loved it--enjoyed walking on the beach, but there was also a well-enclosed backyard so that they could easily "use the facilities" when needed (mostly just early morning and right before bedtime). It was a pleasure to work with our hosts--most gracious and concerned about our needs. Look forward to a return visit hopefully soon.

Fabulous Winter Retreat

We just loved Creola Cottage for so many reasons. It's comfortable and cozy; extremely clean; comfortable beds and linens; kitchen well stocked; warm showers to name a few. The natural light in the cottage is gorgeous. Our dog loved the fenced yard. Ceiling fans were clean which is not common in other homes. The neighborhood is so quiet, it makes you want to whisper. Short walk to the beach. Aldi's is in Slidell; Walmart in Bay STL. Kathy and MIke were wonderful hosts. We highly recommend this cottage and hope to return next year. The only negative was that the dryer was super loud and the ceiling light in the primary bedroom should be brighter for safety. A grab bar to get out of the shower would also be helpful. Our stay was perfect! Thanks for sharing your home.
