Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
I never leave reviews but, apart from the very convenient location this place was pretty disappointing. Steep steps down to the damp smelling basement bedroom are not mentioned which made it inaccessible to my elderly parents. Kitchen low on basics - not enough cutlery etc - Boiler pressure was dangerously low and the hot water intermittent. Noisy fan in the bathroom which stayed on all night.

Ok no big issues 3/5

There is a lot of poorly finished decorating, for example flaky paint and paper, lights not working correctly. And one of the single mattresses wasn’t fit to sleep in for more than one night, requires replacing. Other than that it is local to a few shops and the train station, the shower was good and the facilities in the apartment were ok. Just a 3/5.

Good location

Good location. Apartment is in need of some minor cosmetic attention (wallpaper torn/peeling in some areas). Photos/description don’t detail that the double room is on a lower level so the ceiling is quite low, which was a problem for my husband who is 6ft. Overall the location is good, the accommodation is comfortable and the price was good value for money given the location.
