The house and hosts are excellent! The kids had a great time caring for the horses and the hosts even came by and let us have a pony ride!

The host was very welcoming and gave a thorough tour of the house. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary with 6 adults and 3 granddaughters ages 5,8,9. The girls loved the house - the jacuzzi, hot tub were big hits. They also loved the bottom level with the games and exercise equipment but by far the 3 horses were the biggest hit of all. They loved feeding them and visiting them. The kitchen was large and well equipped and we had a wonderful dinner our first night in the large dining room. The family room with the fireplace, big screen tv and reclining sofas was also very nice. My only caveat, because I’m more of a minimalist, there was too much personal stuff - could use a little declutterring. But all in all it was so worth it - my middle granddaughter just recently asked - can we go back every year.

Our family does an annual Early Thanksgiving (easier travel/better weather!) and we try to book a stay that provides the best accommodations for all, from a 2-year old to over-80's. The Chalet was just perfect, awesome kitchen for our Master Chef and the dining room is beautiful. Our family equestrians had a great time with the horses, the hot tub was a hit, spent lots of time on the huge deck enjoying the beautiful fall weekend. Highly recommend a stay for family get-togethers of any kind!

Loved the property. The owners even made us steak and lobster upon arrival to accomadate for something that was out of their control with the pool but did not affect the usage of the pool. First class all the way and the horses were so amazing. The kids loved feeding them carrots, which the host provided. Fantastic home for family gatherings. Pet friendly and kid fun. The pool and jacuzzi were great, kitchen has everything so dont bring anything. Overall a great and cozy fun home, looking forward to possibly more vacations here.

Unsafe, Misrepresented, and Poorly Maintained- Disappointing Stay

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about this property. Our stay was deeply disappointing due to serious issues with safety, cleanliness, and inaccurate listing details.Safety concerns were the most critical..Exposed wiring in the living room and a broken lock on the main entrance made us feel unsafe. No keys to home . Ditches exposed around pool .A tow truck arrived at property without warning . Owner dismissed it with a chuckle.These are not minor oversights—they are hazards that should have been addressed before anyone set foot in the home.The listing was misleading. The photos and description painted a completely different picture."The 'spacious, modern kitchen' was actually cramped, outdated, and missing basic appliances. We felt misled and frustrated the moment we arrived.Cleanliness was unacceptable. The property was not properly cleaned before our arrival. There was mold in the bathroom, dirty linens on the beds, and a strong musty odor throughout the space.It was clear that little care had been taken to prepare the home for guests.VRBO attempted to contact the host/property manager about this issues . The host sent me a note saying the place was immaculate.We replied with our issues, we have not received a response.This experience was not only uncomfortable but also unacceptable given the price and the expectations set by the listing. I strongly urge potential guests to reconsider booking

Absolutely stunning property

Beautiful stay. Couldve been 5 stars across the board, but one5th) bedroom is actually a pullout couch in the basement game room that you have to pass through to get to another bedroom(4th), so not exactly as advertised. If thats okay, yhen i can not recommended this proprty enough.

Beautiful Property and Location

The house is huge with plenty of room and tons of features! Pool and hot tubs were lots of fun and the game room is full of games and tables to keep the kids happy.The location is very secluded and private, with easy access to stores and restaurants right down the street if needed.Brian was very responsive and easy to work with before and during our stay.

Fall Foliage trip

We loved the chalet!! It was very cozy, pretty and accomodating!! The location is just what we wanted, a welcoming place to appreciate the fall foliage. The host, Brian was extremely communicative with us and went above and beyond to make our experience outstanding! He cooked a delicious dinner on our arrival date! Definitively recommend staying in the chalet to anyone wanting to appreciate the fall foliage in a cozy and welcoming environment for the whole family! PS, we got to feed the horses which was an absolutely great experience for us!

Family celebration

The Chalet was perfect for our family celebration. The weather didn’t always cooperate but there was always something to keep us entertained! The pool and hot tub were a plus during the heatwave. Amazing grounds, well kept. Beautiful super friendly horses. My husband enjoyed feeding them. Suki our golden doodle warmed up to them and loved running around the grounds! The house is large but still comfortable and cozy. Super comfortable beds. The a/c kept us cool at all times. There was plenty of space for 7 adults and 1 infant. Big hit with the guys was the smoker grill! The kitchen was a cooks dream. Well equipped for any level of cooking! Plenty of parking. Perfect location to stores and restaurants. Brian is a great host. He was available if we needed him. Gracious and made you feel like a friend. My family really enjoyed their stay! We hope to stay again!

Great accommodations, clean and fun!

Our family of 10 was in town for an extended family event. There was no room at the inn so the Chalet was perfect. The kitchen was stocked, the living areas were perfect for visiting and the beds were comfy. The Hosts were helpful and the horses were an added treat for the kids and adults. We even had some riding lessons. Thanks for hosting! ❤️

Something for everyone. Better than a resort. I don't know who enjoyed themselves more. The family or the dogs.. The property is gorgeous. The horses were big hit with my daughter and grandson..The kitchen was amazing to cook in, the TV was better than a theater. The whole family made great memories in the gameroom, I'm so glad we did it. The owner gave us a tour which was so helpful. And were easy to get in contact with with any questions. We will definitely be back..

The host for this house was amazing. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathrooms clean and the kitchen extremely well stocked for an vrbo. We did not leave the home so cannot speak to the neighborhood or nearby restaurants. We would love to come again! This home is a gem
