NEW! Charming cabin on Cisco Chain of Lakes

Otter Lodge is located on the top of the hill past Wild Wings Cabin. This is an immaculate four-bedroom home with a generous kitchen fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. A bonus is a dishwasher that isn’t MOM! The living room features a 47" tv, a reclining sofa, a reclining chair, and a sleeper sofa. This was the owner’s home of the previous resort and sits behind existing cabins. You will still be treated to phenomenal sunset views from the generous deck. While this cabin sits a bit higher off the lake, there is a gentle slope to the water and pier.

The Otter Lodge Living Room features a 47" TV with DirecTV satellite programming, a recliner, a reclining sofa, and a sleeper sofa. The kitchen offers a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Bedding is provided, but you provide your own towels. ADDED VALUE – We have a cell booster and unlimited wifi in this home!
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 4 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a sofa bed, and a coffee maker.

Overall great stay in a cozy old house on a beautiful lake. Could use a sign on the Otter Lodge's dock space as that wasn't clear with how it sits back from the lake. A call the to the company to ask and even the map in the house were not super helpful.

2025 Snowmobile Trip

Very accommodating, they let us check in an hour early. Nice big parking lot for truck and trailers. We had to open the heat vents down stairs to get heat. 9 guys all had their own bed. Good access to lake and local snowmobile trails.

Construction crew stayed for a couple nights while working in the area. Nice location, roomy property, beds need an upgrade.

It was pretty much as described. The main room TV worked initially, but would not connect to the network later. I called the manager who never responded.

Lousy internet

Our family liked the size of the cabin but the full-size beds are not comfortable for two adults to sleep in. The internet was hit-or-miss. We would recommend trying a booster. When we checked in, we were told they didn’t know how the service was for the tv. There was none! With 3 rain days, it would have been nice to be able to watch something on TV. The price is also outrageous for this cabin. We could have rented two cabins for what we paid for this one at Wilderness. We’ve been coming for many years and this is the first year that we switched cabins because our family is growing and we were surprised that many of their cabins were empty that week.

Great place….lots of room!

This cabin has so much room that we didn’t even use the lower level and there was 7 of us! It has ample parking for trucks and trailers. The only issue we had was trying to find the place. We had three different phones bringing us to three different locations! Not convenient when traveling with big trailers. Overall…I would definitely recommend staying here though! Very easy to get to trails in both states!
