Short walk to Kennedy Center and Foggy Bottom metro station

Nice hotel clean , comfortable and close to everything in downtown Washington dc.

Check-in was easy and due to availability they upgraded me to a suite without my asking.

We had a group of 15 stay here for a trip and we loved the ease with which to get to the hotel. It's in a bit of a residential area but close to a metro stop and walking distance from Georgetown. Easy to get to and quiet streets. We enjoyed the hotel and our stay in DC.

Centrally located, convenient if you are on business or pleasure. Close to Metro station, grocery shopping, M Street Georgetown shopping, and also White House, government offices and businesses, and touristic activities. Room was clean and comfortable. I would have given them a 5 except the bathroom sink felt "grungy" from age, and elevators were squeaky. Hotel staff responded to all questions pleasantly and professionally. I would recommend to anyone staying in D.C.

I checked in very late, but the staff person was very polite and nice. Got bumped to a larger room. Area was very quiet, so no problem resting. Only weird thing was that when I walked into the room the heating was at full blast, but not really an annoyance.

We stayed for a week. It was a great experience. The staff was great! It was raining one day and we had forgotten an umbrella. One of the gentleman gave us his for the day. The staff was always there to help with questions. Location is perfect very close to the Metro. Area is quiet and you get a feel of Georgetown. Would highly recommend.

I think it must have been a very busy week in DC because prices were very, very high! if I would have paid $150 a night for this hotel which is probably what it usually is, or at least should be I would have been fine with it. Good location, quiet and very friendly staff. The hotel was over $350 a night!!!! An absolutely insane price for a 3 star hotel. Also, there was no A/C! Hotel is a bit older so they hadn't switched over from heat to A/C yet. At this price, very disappointing

Nice warm room soft bed , working clear cable TV , I had a wonderful experience in this hotel I would recommend this to people and yes I will come back .

The hotel is well kept, but showing signs of aging. Hotel was clean, and mattress good. My room had a kitchen, which given the price of eating out in D.C. is a good thing. The staff was quick to be helpful. I would stay there again.

This little hotel is a short walk from the foggy bottom metro stop and the Kennedy center shuttle. Plenty of restaurants in the area and also close to the Georgetown waterfront. Clean, quiet, and comfortable bedding.

Hotel staff was excellent. Hotel is walking distance to National Mall. Hotel is older but rooms are good sized and well kept. Several nice restaurants with-in 1 mile walk. Nice hotel to be away from heavy traffic but close to the National Mall, Georgetown and interstate.

Please come to visit here. The best. Room very clean. Friendly staff. I would like to recommend this hotel.

Clean, comfortable hotel very convenient to the metro. Free wifi works very well, and the staff is always very friendly. I've stayed here every time I've visited DC and have never regretted it.

Lots of space in the suite, and a super friendly staff. Comfortable bed and two TVs. Had stove top, fridge, sink and kitchen space.

We loved the charm of this hotel. We would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and in a great location. Very close to the metro. I enjoyed the stay and will back again!

river inn or residence inn just opposite the st is better than this one; but if they are booked, GWU INN is a decent choice.

Only 2 blocks from the Foggy Bottom metro station, 1 block from the Watergate Shops (pharmacy/grocery, cleaners, sub shop, restaurant, and more), and within 5 blocks of the Kennedy Center, in a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood, the location couldn't be better for a D.C. vacation. We stayed 6 nights; the hotel was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the facilities were clean. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and helpful. The decor and furnishings are getting dated and a little worn, but it was clean. We had a large suite in an ideal location for a fantistic price!

The hotel was a perfect location for us because we were there visiting friends that were in the GW area. The staff was very helpful, kind and nice. Very close to the foggy bottom station that was convenient. The only thing missing was coffee downstairs. The restaurant connected to the hotel was delicious and convenient. I would stay there again.
