Nice hotel - upscale décor. Staff not the best though. Hard to understand, though polite, check in. Same with bar staff. Private dining breakfast order was completely wrong, took almost 1.5 hours to deliver.

Bathroom tub and shower could use upgrading.feel at this cost wifi should be included

Location was outstanding. The White House was two blocks from the hotel. Very convenient. Many good restaurants available within walking distance or by a 10 minute taxi ride. Staff was very helpful, friendly and courteous. Concierge saved us money on two museums with discounted tickets. This will seem odd, but the hotel provided gratis water bottles -- which was great for the tourist who was walking all day. Pricey, but would go again.

great for the price I paid...but this st regis needs updating... clean and lovely...but not as updated or high end as other st regis properties

Great location an price but no in house swimming pool.

We had a terrific experience here. Our first stay on the property. The only thing missing was a pool for the children. The staff was very knowledgable and helpful even providing tickets for museums so we did not have to stand in line. It will be our first choice for our next stay !

Was there for two days, this hotel is in a great location, close to the White House, monuments, resturants and Metro. I had a good experience staying at this hotel

We were looking for an elegant hotel and the St Regis is beautiful. We received excellent service, from the doormen, valet, front desk and in their restaurant. our room was quiet, although not large. Easy access to the Kennedy Center and the Whie House is a few blocks away - great location.

Beautiful hotel Staff were very attentive very comfortable accomodations and a great location. Only downside- the bathroom was a bit small Also had an adjoining room and it was a bit noisy-not great soundproofing between rooms and hallyway.

One of the most memorable visits I've had to DC - and the location and staff of the hotel had a big role to play. Avoid taking the Hop on Hop Off - the location of the hotel makes all the sites and meseums accessible with a few min walk or a short taxi ride. By picking a hotel centrally located, you can get to places faster and avoid being stuck on a hop on off bus or wait for sub-way and change for hours. This hotel has been one of most impressive ones I've stayed at across US and Europe in all my trips these past 30 years.

The hotel was very nice, although in-room coffee service would have been nice. However, what sets this hotel apart is the service from the doorman to the butler, front desk service. Outstanding. Plus, the St. Regis is conveniently located to the White House and many other things. Loved the stay.

The evening turndown service gave our stay that special something to make it memorable.

Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Best for those looking for a quite, more intimate setting. Rooms are tasteful and comfortable. The service is first class.

Was looking for a hotel that said "Washington DC" This one did that nicely.Thought restaurant was too contemporary to be in keeping with historic hotel. Service was outstanding and all of staff very friendly and helpful.Would like to be able to buy a soft drink without paying 6.oo dollars for it. Nice comfortable, quiet rooms, clean, and quaint.Again, everyone was considerate from the door man to the manager.

The St.Regis is an elegant hotel in an excellent location, just 2 short blocks fm the White House. The lobby is beautiful, with wonderful fresh flowers. The staff was lovely. Our room was a good size and comfortable; however, the lighting in the room was extremely dim, and way too dark to put on makeup in the bathroom. Also, the cable tv channel AMC was not available in the hotel, so we couldn't watch "Madmen" on Sunday nite. Serious bummer.

The hotel was on a residential street--not noisy. The Metro was around the corner. It was within walking distance of the White House and the Washington Monument. The restaurant was very good. The concierge was extremely helpful. We did a lot of sightseeing and she gave us directions and hours to the sights. The lobby was beautiful and cozy. Our room had a king size bed and was decorated very nicely. In fact, the entire hotel was completely renovated two years ago. The staff couldn't help enough. Very pleasant stay!

Staff was very friendly and helpful the hotels location is perfect for exploring the capital The hotel is beautiful and well maintained and the room was very comfortable and clean. the room service menu is unbelievable and the food incredible. I will stay there again
