Amazing hotel in the heart of Georgetown. Incredible staff.
Was good, until the cockroaches. Customer service and room were good and then we found a couple cockroaches crawling around in the bathroom.
We stayed for two nights as we dropped off our son at American University. The hotel is a small gem conveniently located at the heart of Georgetown. A lot of great shopping, restaurants and the Potomac River. The staff will do anything to make your stay fantastic and were extremely friendly. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice hotel out of the hussle and bustle of DC.
This hotel is awesome, but a little expensive. The lobby is beautiful with a wood-burning fireplace. The room was large and comfortable. The staff were incredible. The only negative was our room was not ready at check-in time, but the manager comped us with drinks in the lounge. The parking/breakfast package is well worth the extra $20.
I upgraded at the Ritz Carlton, Georgetown on your website - $100 extra per night. The hotel had no record of the upgrade/pre-payment. They argued with me about it and didn't believe that I paid for any upgrade. I don't expect this at check-in. They gave me a regular room and not a suite. I had to print the itinerary to show them and then they still questioned me. I was not happy with the treatment from them or your inability to show them my upgrade.
Verty impersonal, really hard to find, hard to park, took long time to retreive car from parking garage, room service was very expensive
