In the heart of Georgetown you are welcomed to a warm setting where one has not a clue you're in a busy loud city. You feel like family while here. From the moment the bellmen collect your things to the second you leave in your car nothing has to be done. You're cared for in every way. Food, spa and living space are nothing but the best. Five star service where they know your last name throughout.

Ritz Carlton sets a high standards RD Now owned by Marriott it retains its unique culture Georgetown is a boutique property with appeal to trendy patrons Many fine dining and bistro options near by Much shopping options and decent spa

When we first started traveling to DC we stayed at The Four Seasons, which is very nice and also at the Washington DC Ritz Carlton. But by far, the Ritz Georgetown is our favorite. The ladies and gentleman at the hotel are so warm and welcoming. They attended to our every need. The rooms are spacious with lovely furnishings and very large bathrooms and closets. We prefer the Corner Suite simply because it is almost all windows and it is very large. If you are in DC and would like a wonderful hotel, located near all the shopping and sites of Georgetown, but also close enough to the Museums, Capitol, etc., this is the place!

My daughter and I had spa appointments this weekend. They were very below a Ritz standard. We were terribly disappointed. The sauna and steam room were not working, the heated table for my daughters massage was broken, and the entire experience was bad. In addition, I have left several messages for the general manager and have yet to have a return phone call.

The Ritz in Georgetown is one of the better Ritz hotels I have stayed in across the world. The staff is incredibly helpful, pleasant and accommodating. The hotel itself is a converted old industrial building with really cool and interesting architecture and the rooms are well appointed and clean. Easy to walk around Georgetown to shop and dine and cute property with nice outdoor space to just enjoy a lazy afternoon too.

We were pleasantly surprised that the staff greeted us and our children warmly and provided our young boys with welcome gifts. Our room was also upgraded since the extra space would help out with the family of four. Additionally, George who I believe was the doorman was very friendly to our young boys and we felt incredibly welcome by all the staff. I rarely participate in reviews, but this was an above and beyond performance by the staff. We will definitely return.

Great bed, fantastic tub (hard to find in DC) and the staff is wonderfully friendly and supportive. Everything was beautifully appointed from the lobby to the rooms and there was a lovely fountain right outside of my window. The late night Caesar Salad was perfect and I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. A+++ No complaints :) Only adoration.

Stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Georgetown for one night for business. The staff is exemplary - friendly, but not overdone. Very personable and they feel genuinely proud to work there. The room was fine, spacious and spacious bathroom.

Staying at the Ritz Carlton is very expensive but they treat you like family. The location is great as it is right next to the Potomac but also near Wisconsin and M Street (the two biggest streets in Georgetown). They take care of every need and are so nice. We love staying here and definitely will be back.

I came to Georgetown for the first time this past weekend and stayed in the Ritz GT. My experience was 5 star from start to finish. When I arrived, I was greeted by smiling bellman and front desk agents. When I checked in to my room which was on the Spa level, it was perfect! The smell, the look, the cleanliness everything. Every evening at turn down, housekeeping turned on the T.V to the crackling "fireplace" which in conjunction with the most amazing comfortable bed + blackout curtains is HEAVEN! Lastly- Room Service food was amazing, timely and hot. I can't wait to return to this hotel. I left wanting stay much much longer. The hotel is centrally located in the beautiful city.
