Delightful space. Feels like a rectory that was converted to a hotel. Historic, charming, modern decoration. Would love to come back!

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
When we checked in there was still food in a to-go box in the fridge from a previous guest.
At this day in age there should be microwaves in every hotel room, but at this hotel there was not.
No tea was provided, only small nespesso pods with tiny mugs.
I called to have a water kettle delivered to make hot water for tea and it took over an hour for it to arrive.
The hair dryer made an awfully loud noise and shook violently in my hand, I thought it was going to explode and injure me. I called the front desk to get a new one, none ever arrived.
The last day we paid for late check out at 4pm and had the Do Not Disturb sign hung on the door since I was ill and attempting to rest, but four different times housekeeping knocked on the door anyway.
And 30 minutes after checking out I realized I left checking in the fridge that I wanted. I went to the front desk but she said no one was available to help me. I provided my phone number but no one ever called.
Apathy seemed to be the prevalent attitude among guest service staff.
