Beautiful historic property. The rooms that are updated while still keeping the character of the original building.
Super friendly staff. Great restaurants and bars on property. Super walkable area.
I was looking forward to staying at the Line Hotel given what I had heard about it and also being an area I lived for a long time. However, I was disappointed. I came here on a business trip and there was no WiFi for a day disrupting my workflow. There was also no cleaning service another day. The staff seemed unsure how to respond to all of it. And, when I was checking out they didn't make reasonable adjustments in my rate. For the price, I think there are better options elsewhere in DC. Just a disappointing experience overall.
great hotel but no water till 9:00 am for scheduled maintenance is not acceptable!
They unpredictably rent out the beautiful lounge/bar area leaving no place to relax in the hotel. We were not even allowed to walk into the front door but had to go around the side entrance because of an event. Also wasn't open the next morning for breakfast. Their common space is the biggest reason to stay at the hotel. Very disappointing we couldn't enjoy it. Because of the event we weren't even allowed to come in the main entrance. And they had the gall to charge us an amenity fee!
Property is located in a nice neighborhood. Lots of food, stores, and a few bars in the area as well. On Saturday, there was a small farmers market set up in the park across the street. Rooms are average size but feature nice original fine art. TV does not a smart tv so no netflix, etc. Staff were great and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Nice gym, but no pool. My room window faced a bar that on the weekend had loud dance music playing till 2AM. I didn't mind this but if you are a light sleeper, make sure to ask not to be facing this bar. Hotel itself was clean with a nice bar and coffee bar in the mornings.
Great location. Staffing issues. 3 star hotel with potential.
The staff were fabulous! The hotel is close to restaurants, but a good walk to the Wharf, museums and the Capitol. Food was a little overpriced even for a hotel. Our room was a decent size and the bed was very comfy. Water pressure in the shower was great. Parking garage was convenient, but $40 a day self parking. The staff in the hotel made our stay enjoyable!
Pretty, good value Housekeeping doesn’t clean room until nearly 4 pm.
Very unique, pet friendly, great bar, gym facility, very clean room, roomy shower
It’s a boutique hotel that used to be a church. The vibe is modern but everyone is still very friendly. It’s the only place to stay in Adams Morgan and close to many shops and restaurants.
We were told that the power was out at the Line due to a heat wave and we were relocated to a cheaper, less nice hotel, though we were told the facilities were comparable. That was absolutely not the case. The facilities were very dated, cleanliness was questionable, and the hotel was under renovation with no onsite restaurant or bar. We later found ourselves at the Line to discover that most of the hotel was still operational. We just happened to be one of the few unlucky ones selected to be relocated. The experience put a huge damper on our trip, as one of the main reasons we’d decided to stay overnight was to visit the Line. We found the hotel staff to be generally indifferent about the inconvenience, and they could not possibly honestly believe that we were given comparable alternative accommodation.

Thank you so much for reaching out. As many restaurants did in fact have a company rent out the restaurants for a couple of days. We did however have a pop up bar during your stay and breakfast was available. I'm sorry that wasn't communicated to you. We have upcoming buy outs on our website. Feel free to check it should you decide to come again! Have a great day!
