online when booking my stay it wasn't noted how much parking cost. It was $38 a night, which seemed way to expensive in my opinion. Thankfully the doorman was nice enough to point us to a spot right in front of the hotel and let us park there for our 1 night stay. I really liked that they gave you a free $25 credit for the mini bar in your room or the bar in the hotel. They also gave you $25 a person toward breakfast but when I booked it said breakfast was included. Which you would think given $25 a person that was more than enough to cover breakfast but what isn't noted is that you have to pay tip in addition regardless of how much of the $25 per person you spend. Maybe this is so people don't just give the remaining balance to the waiter but if breakfast is included I think it should be fully included and no tip required or we should be allowed to put it within our $50 allotted. I still found the hotel very nice, I can say it's the nicest I've ever stayed in actually. Rooms were clean and very nice and the mini bar nicely stocked with everything from liquor to nuts and chocolate. The hotel is also right on the circle so easy walking distance to many bars, restaurants and several comedy clubs. I hope to come back in the spring and walk to see more of DC since the capital, monuments, etc. are only 1.4 miles away.

Beautiful, clean, inexpensive - we really enjoyed the stay.

Amazing last minute find! Got upgraded and had a drink with the hotel credit enjoying the sights right ON Dupont Circle!

I was pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable rooms, very clean and well-maintained. Staff was extremely friendly way from the time they held the door open for us. I will return again and recommend to others.

The hotel is in a nice location and has a chill bar/restaurant attached with outdoor seating. Hotel was fine. It was really Orbitz that made the trip less than enjoyable. I had put my wife’s name under the reservation because we were arriving separately and she was supposed to get there first. I sent a message via Orbitz notifying them that I wanted both our names on the reservation just in case. However, when I arrived first and tried to check in I couldn’t. It was very frustrating to not being able to check into a room that I booked and I paid for. They had my email and phone number under the reservation, but I still couldn’t check in. Had to call Orbitz and have them update the reservation so I could eventually get into my room. We were in a time crunch to be at an event so this extra wasted time did not leave me satisfied. Ultimately I blame Orbitz for not conveying the message properly.

I never feel comfortable with the hotels with bathroom designed to be part of the room.

The location is excellent! The hotel is close to great restaurants and the metro. The service was lacking somewhat. We were asked during the registration process if we'd like the newspaper to be delivered every morning. We said yes. It wasn't delivered even one time. We had to call for cream and sugar for our morning coffee. We had to call for toilet paper and Kleenex. Our grandson was staying in the room next to us and they didn't give him any coffee one day. We probably will stay here again only because of the location.

The staff treated us like royalty. Every aspect of the hotel was top notch. The food was excellent in the restaurant and bar as well. I go to D.C. about every 6 months. Now I won't stay anyplace else!

Great hotel in a perfect location at the heart of Dupont Circle. Hotel staff are incredibly helpful and always willing to oblige. Super cool bar downstairs. Definitely worth a visit even if you're not staying here.

I arrived 3 hours before check-in, and they thankfully allowed me to check-in with no extra fee. The concierge was very helpful. The bathroom/shower was very clean. Good sized shower as I am a bigger guy. Never ran out of hot water. I stayed in June and the AC worked fantastically. There is a 24hr CVS within sight of the hotel, if you forget anything.

The clear advantages of this hotel are its great location and its exceedingly courteous staff who made check in and checking out super easy. The down side was the limited space of my room -- it was pretty much all bed, credenza and desk. Bathroom sink is also very small and flooring in room needs updating.

Is always my preferred hotel for the NAR conference. It is convenient to my meetings, capitol hill and everywhere because of the METRO stops right outside my door. Staff is so courteous and accommodating. From the front door people to housekeeping. Was not able to get in in 2016, but for 6 yrs, I have stayed here.

We stayed here in the past because of location / proximity to the Nat'l Mall and central DC. Very close to the Metro which is easy to use. Metro staffing very willing to help if needed. Hotel and amenities were exceptional, staffing friendly and helpful, almost too helpful at times, knew when to back off based on my disposition.

The bathroom was separated from the rest of the room by a glass door, and there was absolutely no privacy when using the toilet. Aside from this, the room was clean. We had to pay to extend our stay pass regular check out time due to flight delay and the staff accommodated the request. The grilled scallops dish and seasoned fries that we ordered at the hotel bar at night were tasty; the rest of the food was ok (burgers). We ordered drinks off the cocktails menu and were not satisfied with the taste, so we asked for a regular cocktail (vodka cranberry), and the drinks were still very disappointing.

Lovely hotel, excellent food, great location, nicest staff ever! Thank you!

Great location, close to Metro stop, food, shops. Friendly and genuinely helpful staff.

Located in the midst of Dupont Circle's boutique shops and eating establishments, this location is great if you want to stay in the heart of the city. It's staffed by nice people who seem to like people and like their jobs–the maids, doormen, and front desk and bar staff: happy, professional, and personable and ready to chat if you want. Plus, there's a cool bar with outdoor street seating and indoor seating surrounded by glass looking out on the city. The rooms are older but kept up nicely with high-end luxury amenities like heated tile bathroom floors, lighted room numbers which can indicate "do not disturb," and a host of those little freebies like sleep masks, etc.

Hotel is located in a decent area; good restaurants, a few bars, and easy access to the Metro. Only misses; small'ish room, A/C didn't get the room cold enough (I like 68 to sleep), and shower water temperature adjustment was sensitive. Overall a nice place and good value.

The hotel is nice, but our room had a high-pitched squeal in the ventilating system that would go off and on all night. It was present all day, but less noticeable because of ambient sounds. WE reported it to engineering the first morning, and were told it was fixed. I called guest services later and said it wasn't and was assured it would be taken care of. Never heard another word. Similar situation with the television. All lower channels, including CNN and Fox were nonfunctional. They rerouted CNN and MSMBC to alternate channels, but still could not get Fox or local channels.

Very nice hotel 1 mile from the White House and only 2 blocks from DuPont Circle Metro stop. Within those 2 blocks are small pubs and restaurants and a Starbucks. Even a CVS pharmacy is on the circle. The onsite bar and restaurant seemed very popular but my wife and I never went in. We had our coffee and breakfast at Starbucks across the street and dinners at local restaurants. Our room was small but it is a city hotel so no complaints. The room seemed to have been recently updated and was very clean. The heated bathroom floor was great and the bed and pillows were very comfortable as well. The mini fridge was stocked with things for sale so no useable fridge in the room unless you request it from the desk. The room did not have a coffee maker but had a Nespresso machine. The staff was very courteous and helpful answering our questions. The price, convenience, and quality of the hotel would encourage me to recommend this hotel to others.
