The Dupont Circle Hotel

The clear advantages of this hotel are its great location and its exceedingly courteous staff who made check in and checking out super easy. The down side was the limited space of my room -- it was pretty much all bed, credenza and desk. Bathroom sink is also very small and flooring in room needs updating.

Is always my preferred hotel for the NAR conference. It is convenient to my meetings, capitol hill and everywhere because of the METRO stops right outside my door. Staff is so courteous and accommodating. From the front door people to housekeeping. Was not able to get in in 2016, but for 6 yrs, I have stayed here.

We stayed here in the past because of location / proximity to the Nat'l Mall and central DC. Very close to the Metro which is easy to use. Metro staffing very willing to help if needed. Hotel and amenities were exceptional, staffing friendly and helpful, almost too helpful at times, knew when to back off based on my disposition.

The bathroom was separated from the rest of the room by a glass door, and there was absolutely no privacy when using the toilet. Aside from this, the room was clean. We had to pay to extend our stay pass regular check out time due to flight delay and the staff accommodated the request. The grilled scallops dish and seasoned fries that we ordered at the hotel bar at night were tasty; the rest of the food was ok (burgers). We ordered drinks off the cocktails menu and were not satisfied with the taste, so we asked for a regular cocktail (vodka cranberry), and the drinks were still very disappointing.

Lovely hotel, excellent food, great location, nicest staff ever! Thank you!

Great location, close to Metro stop, food, shops. Friendly and genuinely helpful staff.

Located in the midst of Dupont Circle's boutique shops and eating establishments, this location is great if you want to stay in the heart of the city. It's staffed by nice people who seem to like people and like their jobs–the maids, doormen, and front desk and bar staff: happy, professional, and personable and ready to chat if you want. Plus, there's a cool bar with outdoor street seating and indoor seating surrounded by glass looking out on the city. The rooms are older but kept up nicely with high-end luxury amenities like heated tile bathroom floors, lighted room numbers which can indicate "do not disturb," and a host of those little freebies like sleep masks, etc.

Hotel is located in a decent area; good restaurants, a few bars, and easy access to the Metro. Only misses; small'ish room, A/C didn't get the room cold enough (I like 68 to sleep), and shower water temperature adjustment was sensitive. Overall a nice place and good value.

The hotel is nice, but our room had a high-pitched squeal in the ventilating system that would go off and on all night. It was present all day, but less noticeable because of ambient sounds. WE reported it to engineering the first morning, and were told it was fixed. I called guest services later and said it wasn't and was assured it would be taken care of. Never heard another word. Similar situation with the television. All lower channels, including CNN and Fox were nonfunctional. They rerouted CNN and MSMBC to alternate channels, but still could not get Fox or local channels.

Very nice hotel 1 mile from the White House and only 2 blocks from DuPont Circle Metro stop. Within those 2 blocks are small pubs and restaurants and a Starbucks. Even a CVS pharmacy is on the circle. The onsite bar and restaurant seemed very popular but my wife and I never went in. We had our coffee and breakfast at Starbucks across the street and dinners at local restaurants. Our room was small but it is a city hotel so no complaints. The room seemed to have been recently updated and was very clean. The heated bathroom floor was great and the bed and pillows were very comfortable as well. The mini fridge was stocked with things for sale so no useable fridge in the room unless you request it from the desk. The room did not have a coffee maker but had a Nespresso machine. The staff was very courteous and helpful answering our questions. The price, convenience, and quality of the hotel would encourage me to recommend this hotel to others.

I have stayed here on three separate occasions. The rooms and services are lovely. Each stay, I was greeted with a hand written note, a nice touch! My only complaint is that the rooms blinds do not completely block out the light at night, however not too big of an inconvenience for a city person. Will definitely stay there again!

perfect with all, feel like a home ...love it ,thanks

Near Metro stop: Lots of small, nice restaurants and pubs nearby. Hotel restaurant good for breakfast. Outdoor seating. Rooms adequate for DC,not very big for "Superior room" but ok. Not inexpensive rooms even for DC. Clean, confortable, quiet. My rooms had view of dirty alley and another building. Didn't open blinds. Now for problems: Booked 2 rooms 6 weeks ago; on arrival told our rooms were 2 floors apart and that was all they could do. No attempt to even look We checked in at 330P. My brother is great Basketball fan. We stayed during playoffs No Satellite in rooms for all 3 days but it did work in bar??? They did comp him with breakfast voucher for $50/day. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly except front desk who showed attitude that's the way it is.

The hotel staff is well trained with great courtesy. In general, the stay was great. However, my room was nearby the elevators, so it was a little bit disruptive during sleep time.

It was very nice and pretty in the inside with was well kept and clean

We stayed here last Christmas to visit my brother-in-law who lives very close. Parking seems to be the best deal around and hotel staff are very attentive. The only negative was the mini-bar. We had ours replaced with a new unit, but do not use it for your own drinks/snacks. If you move anything for more than a few seconds they charge you a really high amount. We asked for a refrig that never showed up.

Great location and very friendly/helpful staff. DuPont Circle is within walking distance to attractions and a hip bar/food scene. Hotel is very chic and modern.

I love the Dupont Circle Hotel...close to Metro, good restaurants, DC life outside the concrete canyon downtown.

Dupont Circle Hotel is a great place to stay to see Washington DC. A short walk to the subway and a taxi stand across the street allows one to quickly get to where one want to go. The staff was great, breakfast included and the room recently update. Will stay there again on our next trip to DC.

Very close to DuPont Circle Metro stop and nicely appointed rooms and public areas. Nice bar and restaurant with fairly reasonable prices. Would be happy to stay there again.
