The location was perfect- close to public transportation to go all the places we wanted to go. There is an elevator in the historic building. The room was small, no fridge or suitcase rack. Bathroom right next to the bed with very loud fan. Very friendly 24/7 staff. Would stay again, maybe in one of the larger rooms. Area is very safe.

the comedy club in the basement was the only thing that made it ok.

Room was dirty, staff unhelpful, broken clothes iron. Basically a flophouse concerted into cheap hotel. Avoid.

The all on property amenities! The restaurant, comedy club, right on premises. Older property with charm.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms are very old dated and rugs were stained in the room. But there is a free Comedy club downstairs which was a nice plus

Likes: the hotel feels like a very well maintained old building [which felt like home to me as I've lived mostly in historic apartment buildings]. That and how consistently helpful & considerate the front desk were both before & during my stay. The big dislike for me were the stairs required to go in the front door. Basically a full flight of stairs to get to the front door, and then more stairs inside to get onto the front desk.

Overall excellent staff and service, but the room is rather old and needs renovation

I liked how the room was very clean and homey with the addition of two beds. The beds were very comfortable, and I will definitely come back again.

Room was small but decent! Would stay there again!

Nice hotel for the price. Good location. Craft beer bar in the hotel 😀.

GOOD location BAD Internet in my room on the back useless. No coffee in room, No ice machine, rugs torn appart,

Nice and convenient place good to stay for a short trip to DC.

The worn down carpets, sticky banisters, front desk procedures and lack of helpfulness all suggest a hotel that charges by the hour.
