The non smoking room had a strong Oder of smoke. Even clothes in our suitcase ended up smelling of smoke.

We checked into this hotel at about 830 pm. We were greeted by the local drug heads. Our room was down stairs which was like a dungeon. It smelled bad and was not clean. I was afraid to be in the hotel. There were locals living in the hotel.

The room was in good shape, but it does seem it is due for updating.

Biggest problem was that they allowed smoking rooms. The lobby smelled disgusting and even though we didn’t have a smoking room the odor came into our room. Our clothes and belongings smelled like smoke. And you had to get ice from across the parking lot at the gas station. Otherwise the place was fine. The staff was very friendly.

Overall it was an ok stay HOWEVER, my non-smoking room smelled like smoke and that made my clothes smell like smoke. Luckily I was staying with family the next night and was able to rewash my clothes for the rest of my trip. I used my blow dryer and it set off the smoke detector! Which would not be so bad except that nobody came to my room to see if there was a fire! The staff was very friendly and any interaction with them was very good. I have nothing but great things to say about the staff!!

Room had an odor. Pretty rundown. Bathroom looked dirty. No Kleenex in holder.

Manager was very pleasant and helpful . Good basic breakfast

So the lobby smells like cigarette smoke.. but my room didn't and that's what's important (if you're non-smoking). I got exactly what I'd expect out of a hotel for $50 a night. Clean room, simply appointed, and a free breakfast to boot.

Nastiest place I have ever been to. Nothing good to say

Filthy. Know you get what you pay for but wasn't dated it was nasty.

You get what you pay for. Room old and dated. Entire hotel is very old. Also we requested a smoke free room, but our room reaked of smoke. Spend the extra $10 and go somewhere better. The door looked like it had been kicked in. We were worried we would catch bedbugs from the room.

The hotel was somewhat outdated but pretty clean. My room had a pretty bad chemical smell. The breakfest was the usual hotel breakfast with waffles.

The experience was average for the most part. Room was a little too small for two people. However, the location makes it convenient when traveling to nearby attractions like Meramec Caverns.

We just needed to stay here for one night, and we didn't mind it. You get what you pay for, so we knew going into it not to have high expectations. We'd stay here again, because the price is right for a quick nights sleep. Though we'd normally stay somewhere nicer, it sufficed. It did have a slight cigarette smell, it's old, no elevator, and not five star resort quality. It worked for what we needed... And I've definitely stayed in worse places. The staff was very friendly and courteous to our needs! The continental breakfast was good: typical limited cereal, bagels, waffles, fruit, and juice selection. The bed was firm and comfy after being couped up in a car for several hours. The shower water pressure and temperature was great! We recommend staying here if you just need a decent quick nights rest before getting back on the road.

Bed was horrible, matress was worn out, shower head had paint splatters on it. When we were leaving the room after our first of two nights stay the cleaning lady was ready to clean our room and she wanted to know if we had checked out yet, when I explained we were staying another night I expected the situation was over however on our return our pass card didn't work as they were trying to give our room to someone else. not happy

We arrived after a long day of driving. The location was a perfect stop over on our trip. The hotel was located right off I-44, easy off, easy on.

services were adequate with small breakfast area consisting of 2 tables and 2 couches right in front of front desk, usually breakfast area is in seperate room.

The location is great, just off the highway. And close to Mermec Caverns, which is where we spent most of our time.
