The perfect home for our group

Not only is the home beautiful, it was the perfect size for our large friend group. Luke and Stephen were the perfect hosts. I cannot say enough how beautiful everything was. Best of all, check-in and check-out was a breeze! We had a blast!

Absolutely beautiful home!

We had a group of 11 and needed 7 bedrooms to accommodate the group. There were plenty of sleeping surfaces and bathrooms to accommodate our group. The home was beautiful and clean. Had everything you would need and was walking distance from restaurants and other amenities. We had a wonderful visit and would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Perfect house in a wonderful neighborhood

We had a pretty big group coming together from all over, and this house was perfect for our purposes of spending a long weekend relaxing together. The bedrooms are surprisingly quiet even if people are in the living spaces, and everyone said their beds were extremely comfortable! It's also in a neighborhood full of quick food and stores if you intend to mostly spend your time at the house cooking and hanging out, while still being close enough to interesting things to do.

Army/Navy Family and Friend Awesomeness!

Stayed with Classmates and their families for a few days and the football game. House was perfect. One person had a car and used Sporthero for easy parking. No car needed as 2-3 blocks for restaurants and the best liquor store, Sid and Sonnie were awesome, and the food was great. Cool house.

Classy residence with tons of living space for everyone!

I booked the entirety of this gorgeous property (main 3-floors + garden level unit) for a week long team work event for 7 adults. Everyone had their own bedroom (5 up/2 down) and each floor shared a full bathroom. There is so much space to spread out and gather. Fenced in backyard patio, front porch stoop, large dining room table and 2 kitchen spaces to work with. Modern amenities for a modern house. Walking distance from bars and restaurants and even a bodega for adult beverages. 10-15 minute shared ride service from most of DC attractions or if you have a car, plenty of street parking in the evening. If someone is a light sleeper, I recommend they bring earplugs or noise cancelling headphones; its near a main DC street, so sirens can be annoying. But 6 out of 7 guests weren't bothered by the sirens. Overall, fantastic hosts for a fantastic place that allowed for my team to easily recover from a full day of work.

Best Birthday Gathering Ever!

The District Cottege, as it's called, was wonderful! The property was exactly as advertised on the Vrbo site...actually lovelier than the pics. The house couldn't have been cleaner, the rooms had everything we needed and our hosts were great in getting back to us ASAP whenever we had a question about the house or things around DC. The only caution I would say for someone staying at the property is that you should make sure that you can climb stairs as this is a townhouse and is 3 stories high (not counting the English basement) with kind of steep stairs. That's all part of the charm of this home, but you need to be aware of this going in. Just think of the number of steps you'll get each day! Anyway, our large family group cooked, played, enjoyed the neighborhood and all the DC sites that were easy to get to by foot or Uber. We would come back in a heartbeat!
