Great house, not great area
The house was great and had all updated amenities. Everything was clean and the house had plenty of space. That wasn’t an issue at all. The location was conveniently located to all the DC stuff you would want to do.
The concern was the area. We did not feel safe walking to the train stop. The nearest grocery store had a lot of loiterers and homeless near the entrance. We were woken up in the night by sirens, gun shots in the area, and neighbors having loud gatherings. While nothing bad or unsafe specifically happened to us, we just had an uneasy and unsafe feeling during our stay due to the circumstances listed.
