Spacious & Modern Suite by Metro in Capitol Hill
A renovated, spacious, comfortable, modern in-law's suite just 3 blocks to Stadium Armory Metro, 15 minute metro ride to downtown, or 25 min walk to the Capitol.
Private entrance (in rear) w/ 1 dedicated parking spot and outdoor patio seating. Private washer/dryer in unit, WIFI, 42" Smart TV, and large bathroom with amenities. Approximately 900+ sq ft of living space.
Quiet neighborhood with stunning greenery, yet with easy access to DC's iconic monuments, museums and other attractions.
The Space
The space is a private apartment located in the lower level of a town house. It has a in-unit washer and dryer, dishwasher, a large bedroom with a queen bed, and a small kitchen.
Guest Access
Unit has it's own private entrance located in the rear of the house. Guests will have entire suite to themselves, as well as access to the shared backyard area with outdoor seating for four. We have 1 private, secured parking spot that may be used for free with any reservation. Please note, due to the size and configuration of the space, vans, pickup trucks and larger SUVs will not fit in the space.
Other Things to Note
As a basement unit, there may be some noise from the upstairs, particularly us walking and our dog running around. We try to keep this to a minimum and will respect quiet hours from 10PM to 7AM. The HVAC is centrally controlled by main house and the basement can sometimes feel cool. We've provided extra blankets and a space heater in case you prefer it warmer.

Very nice place, extra clean, very private even though it is located in a very residential neighborhood. the Metro is 1 block away and super convenient. Meeghan was super nice and helpful. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience I had. Will definitely stay again if I visit DC.

Close to the Capitol and Union Station!
We felt like we were in the heart of DC and all it had to offer with off street parking too. Thank you Meghan and Roshon for sharing your home. Excellent communication all along. Beautiful roomy home away from home. Thank you for the goodies and tote bag. The bed was so comfortable and bedding and towels were top notch. Loved the spacious spa-like bathroom. The kitchen area was well-equipped and we used the dishwasher and the washer and dryer a few times during our busy week. The neighborhood is safe and quiet with many stores, restaurants and parks you can walk to. We enjoyed Pacci’s and Della Barba Pizza. And the lines and towels

We stayed in this rental for 7 days. It was a10 minute walk to a metro station that made it very convenient to get to all the places we wanted to go. The owner communicated with us regularly during our stay, making sure we had everything we needed and offering assistance if needed.

Cozy, Modern, Quiet Apartment
We spent 14 days at this apartment, which was very close to where our son lives. It is a one-bedroom basement apartment, very well equipped, very clean and nicely appointed. Owners live upstairs, are very quiet, and very easy to communicate with. It made our stay in DC very pleasant.

Lovely Stay
It was the best for my recent move to WA DC before moving into my permanent home. The extra details and amenities through out made it feel like home. Located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood with easy access made the entire stay quite lovely and perfect. The hosts were extremely nice and very responsive.
I highly recommend and would definitely return to this cozy Suite.

Loved it so much we booked it again
Title says it all. We were a 10 minute walk from RFK Stadium which was having an event all weekend, which made for a super convenient stay. The fact that the liquor store and 7 Eleven were a block away made it even more convenient. The place was super clean and well equipped. We've stayed in a few other rentals in the same area over the years and this was immediately the best by far as far as how nice it was! Also they were super responsive, always responding to any messages we had within a very timely fashion.
