We like the location, the quiet, the friendly staff, and, oddly, perhaps, the wonderful water pressure in the kitchenette and bathroom!

We stayed here for a recent family vacation trip to D.C. The check in staff was very welcoming and helpful. Parking is underground with the entrance to the immediate left of the front doors. The parking garage was well-lit and immaculate. We had no problem getting a luggage cart and never had to wait for the elevators, even though the hotel seemed full with guests over the 4th of July. On Monday-Thursdays, the hotel hosts a free light dinner which was wonderful. The breakfasts were fantastic with a lot of variety. Our hotel room was very large and spacious. I had room to practice my yoga without restriction or being in my family's way. Housekeeping kept our room spotless. I did laundry there one evening, and the machines are front-loading and had the time of each cycle posted on the wall so I could set a timer. The surrounding neighborhood is safe and we had a fantastic Thai/Vietnamese dinner just across the street. Several coffee shops are within a stone's throw. It is about 3 blocks from the Metro entrance. We arrived at the hotel around 6:00 pm on a hot night, and we were too tired to travel outside of the immediate area. We went on a walk down "Embassy Row" which begins just around the block with the Polish Embassy. It was fascinating to see all the embassies and architectural styles. A very safe area. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next family trip-- it was an excellent experience!

This hotel has everything....wonderful location, cheerful and helpful staff, close to public transportation. We come back every year!

The hotel was in a great location. Within 2 miles of everything! Free breakfast was really good, everything was hot and fresh. Staff was very slow bringing more toilet paper ( took over 2 hours). Front desk staff was very nice. The lighting in the bathroom wasn't great, a little dark in the shower. Over all, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We stay for five nights with my family during our sightseeing trip in DC. The culture of the staff was fabulous. Everyone we encountered was friendly and attentive to our needs. We stayed in a two bedroom suite, which slept the five of us comfortably. The accommodations were well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast in the lobby was more than adequate and on Monday through Wednesday there is a dinner with a couple of food options. It was nothing fancy, but really what the doctor ordered after a long day of sightseeing when we didn't want to venture out. The only drawback is that they did not have a pool for the kids. We would definitely stay here again.

I Booked at this hotel by accident and turned out to be one of the best hotels I stayed in during my trip to US, room was specious and location was perfect.

I chose this hotel for its location--right by Dupont Circle, 10 minute walk to Georgetown, 20 minute walk to K Street and the White House, an easy drive from the airport. It delivered that, plus a very comfortable room--nothing fancy, but large with kitchenette. The staff were very helpful and I was able to check in early and check out late. They have recently upgraded wifi and it worked perfectly. If you drive here, be prepared to pay $32/night to park in the covered hotel lot.

same as above I had a great time with my grandkids at the hotel

Lots of space. Nice room with comfortable bed. Decent free breakfast.

Location was good, although no Metro close by. Good restaurants in the area with wide selection of cuisine. Hotel itself was ok, but once inside the room, it was comfortable.

Good restaurants nearby: Le Pain Quotidien, Pizzeria, sushi and Sete.

hotel is located very centrally and has ideal room setup. extremely helpful staff, clean rooms and a great bed. Thumbs up!

I was traveling for a conference and was looking for an affordable and convenient hotel where I could crash after a long day, but also be able to get some work done. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my suite (yeah, a suite -- I was expecting a tiny room with a bed) was perfectly set to meet my needs. The immaculate room was homey, with an indecently comfortable couch and complimentary WiFi and wired internet access. The hotel staff was very accommodating, friendly, and polite. Each morning as I exited the elevator, the front desk greeted me with a smile and reminded me that breakfast was served to my left (how could I resist not grabbing a cup of coffee and a banana for the road?). What was left of the evenings were spent relaxing in the room while multi-tasking between the large, flat-screen TV and my laptop. The hotel was clean, quiet, and fantastically comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

While in the D.C. area, we visited nearby colleges / universties. The staff was very helpful in giving us directions and also handed us free passes for the local transportation. An unexpected free hot breakfast was a great way to start our day. [...]

I arrived at the Marriott Residence Inn in DuPont Circle, Washington DC, at 1:30am to find that they had been oversold despite my paid guarantee through [...]. Really annoying to say the least. However, the front desk manager was very diligent in finding one of the few hotel rooms available in Washington that night and covered the cost of the first night. Started very badly but problem solved after the inconvenience.

The hotel syay was uneventful, and that is good. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Near many good restaurants.

the staff was most courteous & helpful. rooms were on point & ideal location for my business dealings. will definitely stay here again.
