One Washington Circle Hotel

This was my second stay at One Washington Circle. I will definitely go back. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean. The facilities accommodated all our needs for a weekend get away. Especially appreciated was the 24 hour access to the (small) gym, the full kitchen, and the wine/cheese served nightly in the lobby. What was most remarkable was the staff! They were able to help with all requests and questions including restaurant recommendations, any issues with the room (they immediately switched out a broken coffee grinder, switched our room to accommodate a cot, early and late check in/out requests, etc). All the staff from 4/6 afternoon until 4/8 checkout were friendly, helpful, engaging, amazing. Thank you.

This was our fifth time staying here. It is conveniently located near to Whole Foods (our primary place to eat breakfast and dinner) and the Metro. The rates are better than all the other hotels I've checked (and I've made a thorough search). The staff is without peer. One has to adjust to ambulances coming to GWU Hospital --sometimes until 11 pm. But a higher floor room helps a bit. My husband uses a wheelchair, and the doormen who helped him were so cheery! The kitchen is fully equipped and is a valuable money-saving option not often found in this price range. The Circle Bistro restaurant downstairs is excellent! My husband has tried other hotels and keeps returning to this one!

Excellent location and added comfort of the kitchenette with trader Joe's close by. Nice to have complimentary wine hour in the afternoon

Staff was very accommodating, helpful, and welcoming it was a very pleasant stay will certainly stay again!!

Brandie was gracious and attentive from the moment we pulled up in the taxi. She was very helpful with my mom, who is eighty-nine, and no longer able to see or walk very well. The check in was quick and smooth. After staying in so many “boutique “ hotels where the rooms were so tiny you can reach out your arms and touch opposite walls at once, it was a joy to stay in this very large, very comfortable room. Because is was Sunday, there was no in-house restaurant, so I walked to Meiwah Chinese restaurant, which is two blocks away straight down New Hampshire Avenue to get dinner. There was also a very busy burger place directly opposite the hotel on the other side of the park. I haven’t been to this hotel several years, but I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, attentive staff, large comfortable apartment. Will not hesitate to come back and recommend to friends.

Good hotel and amenities. Wish the restaurant was open on the weekends.

The hotel has good value. Large rooms equipped with full kitchen, sofa bed, and balcony. The overall experience was good with the exception of the location that has the George Washington Hospital Emergency Room right across the street. Very noisy every time a ambulance went by. All in all, I would recommend the hotel.

Room was not ready at 3pm but hotel comped drinks & appetizer in their bar; a nice surprise. Good breakfast quality & numerous restaurants nearby.

The heater in room was loud. The pull out bed/couch mattress was poor

Very comfortable, spacious room. Ample amenities. Extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom fixtures are somewhat dated, but otherwise the room would be a perfect 10 The hotel is conviently located in a pleasant, quiet Georgetown district, only a 5 minute walk to the metro station

We stayed here for several nights to be close to George Washington University Hospital for a surgical procedure. We found it reasonably comfortable and clean. The beds were outstanding and super comfortable. The layout of the suite is a bit odd but quite adequate.

My family didn't sleep all night. Emergency vehicle sirens were heard all night as this hotel is located across street from major hospital. Also people partying in pool at 3:30 am. The hotel did compensate us with a breakfast and took care of our parking but it ruined our trip to DC as my family were exhausted. If you book here request a room higher up hotel, my sister was on first floor.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised what a wonderful and safe neighborhood this hotel was located in. The park across from it was a pleasure to walk through every day on our way to the Metro which was only about a block away. The staff there was extremely accommodating with any information that we needed for our public transportation. They were kind enough to look up where we needed to go and print off maps with some directional help for us as well. We are not big public transportation people and they made our trips much easier than what I had printed off prior to arriving in DC. Thanks so much to your staff. Our room was exceptional and not what I expected, not realizing it had a full kitchen. We only used the refrigerator and coffee maker but what a comfortable room. We enjoyed our stay and felt completely safe traveling to and from surrounding DC at all hours! Definitely a gem of a find for the price. We would recommend staying here and would consider coming back if we visited the DC area again.

I came to dc for my birthday and stayed in the executive suite. The room was much bigger than expected and had a full service kitchen inside!! It was clean and the bed was so comfortable! The staff was very friendly and I love how whole foods was right around the corner! They lock the doors at a certain time and have a doorman to come let you in but on the first night there, the doorman was nowhere to be found and I waited outside the front door for nearly 30 min. I let the front desk know the following morning and they were very apologetic and told me that a door man is supposed to be at the door 24/7 and that was not supposed to happen. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and plan to visit there again next time I'm in town!!

The room was a nice size very clean and staff was pleasant . I would stay there again

Accommodations are great. Very spacious room with full kitchen separate from sleeping area is very unique and wonderful if people are waking up at different times. The staff are all wonderful from doorman to front desk clerk.

Over all for the price I was dissapointed the room and halls weren't renovated, the hidden charge was also not pleasant

The staff was terrific and extremely helpful. The room was clean and enormous.

We stayed the weekend as a family of three and the stay was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a decent size and cleanliness wasn't an issue. The bed and pillows were very soft which did not provide much support causing difficulty sleeping. Location works out well since it's a short walk to the Metro. It was a fair price for the stay. However, parking is extremely limited and the hotel offers valet. It is not immediately made aware that overnight parking is not free so that was a surprise on my credit card bill.
