Great place to stay. Well-appointed! Located a block away from Stanton Pk. and a nice stroll to Eastern Market and 8th St for dinner and ice cream. We were visiting my daughter, who lives in the Capitol Hill area. Will stay again.

DC Weekend

The home is beautiful and in a perfect location. The house is large and accommodating. We were able to walk to The Mall and had lots of fantastic restaurants in the neighborhood. Would highly recommend this property. We needed an early check in to drop our bags and it was very easy to contact the owner who was very accommodating. Parking is also available outside the home

Perfect family base—easy walk to the Capitol & museums

We spent spring break here with our four kids and couldn’t have been happier. The house was spotless, exactly as pictured, and an easy stroll to the Capitol, Air & Space Museum, and plenty of other sights. Andrew’s communication was outstanding—he answered questions quickly and sent helpful tips about the neighborhood, transit, and the home itself. After long days exploring D.C., it was great to come back to such a comfortable place. We’d book again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Perfect D.C. mini Getaway

Our family of four including 6th and 7th graders had a fabulous mini getaway to D.C. visiting memorial, Mt. Vernon and the Smithsonian museums. What made the stay extra nice was our accommodations at this property. The communication was topnotch with incredible resources, the property itself was superb, clean and a lovely retreat for tired feet. The pictures are accurate and the location was amazing near the government buildings and museums. We would stay here again!

Great space in a great location

This property fit our family of 5 very well. The location was wonderful for exploring DC - close enough to walk to many things and convenient to all the public transport options. We were able to find close parking and the door keypad entry was easy to use. The house had nice kitchen and bathroom amenities and even provided laundry detergent. The bedrooms and common spaces were comfortable. The electronic guidebook was helpful.

Great location, great house, and a great host!

Even before booking, Andrew was incredibly helpful. Upon booking, he sent me a travel guide with all the pertinent information about the house, transportation, tourist spots, restaurants/bars, and activities going on in the area. I was really impressed -- I've never received anything like that before. My parents arrived a day before me and they are incredibly hard to please. They FaceTimed me to show me that the house was even better than the pictures on the Vrbo listing! So yes, it was a beautiful, quaint home. It's in a beautiful, quiet area that is within walking distance of many restaurants. (I highly, highly recommend Ethiopic and Sidamo Coffe!) It's also a ~25-minute walk or short metro ride to the National Mall. Overall, it was an incredible stay and Andrew was an incredible host. I would definitely recommend booking with him.

Beautiful house close to everything! Very clean, perfect for our family with 2 teenaged boys. Great Italian restaurant within walking distance of house. Union station is a 10 minute walk. Owner’s guidebook was excellent!!! We will definitely stay here again! Nothing negative to say about this rental- we LOVED it!!!

Fantastic location, amazing prop with. parking & yard space

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It is near all. The neighborhood is so quaint, friendly and clean! The house was spacious, set up perfectly and had all the amenities you’d need. The owner was fantastic to deal with. The outdoor space for me is very important—really private courtyard with lounge seating area. Can’t wait to come back!!!! Have already recommended this prop to fam and friends!

Excellent Home in Excellent Location

Our experience staying at this wonderful location was everything we hoped it would be. The rental is located minutes walk from the Supreme Court, Capitol Building, and Union Station. A few small markets are within walking distance and the neighborhood is beautiful. The home itself is well appointed and set up for spending at least some time at the home relaxing. It was everythibg we wanted and we will definitely have this on our list of places to stay when we return to DC. Highly recommended!

Made our own class trip

Due to COVID my son’s DC trip was canceled so we decided to go ourselves so he and his friend could still see some of the amazing sites. The home was in a great location and infact we loved walking to many places. If we took a uber they were very affordable also. Host was very responsive to any question we had!
